To spice things up I'm trying to introduce some side games.
We already have:
-Double Tap
-$2 Most Doubles
This week I'm going to introduce an Earlybird Special. Arrive by 5:30 and enter into a $1 bracket. 8 players. Single elimination. Random draw. Games to just 11pts, win by 2. Winner gets entry for the night covered ($5). The extra cash ($3) gets donated to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
If you have any other ideas for side games (before, during, or after) let me know or feel free to run something yourself.

There has some confusion the last couple weeks about some of the play. I have updated the About section of the league to include some rules. I hope this clarifies some things.

What's the word for the holidays? Obviously Christmas eve is out, but NYE?

Looks like nye already isnt on the schedule but xmas eve should be taken off too i think...?

I took off NYE cause I don't expect there to be much of a turnout. I left on Xmas Eve looking for feedback later in December. Honestly, I don't even know if 5Star is open...

Wouldn't it make more sense to have Nye open and Xmas Eve off? Turnout for Xmas Eve would probably be non-existent. Nye at least allows people to come out and play. And be done early enough to go do something else. Plus I was looking forward to birthday putting lol

Just putting this out there to gauge interest.
Would people be interested in a higher entry fee (say $10)? as this would result in a higher payout?
Or if they fee would be raised, would that turn too many people away?
I see that other Putting Leagues seem to be $5-6/wk. I don't know all their formats or sizes but I have to think that we are likely the largest (avg 50ppl/wk). Also you are guaranteed to play at least 4 games each night.
So, comment below with your thoughts. This is just an open dialog, I will not be changing registration fees without a discussion (or maybe not at all).
