Thanks Ken, I take the leaving early responsibility as a lack of communication on my part. I will do better from now on letting people know they need to stay until they are officially eliminated for the night or if they have to leave early they will be forced to not participate. It is something I will add to the list of info at the beginning.

I really like the idea for the most part. I personally don't care if I cash or not, it is worth it to me to pay my $5 just to have a good time. I would just like to see everyone have a good time, and to find a way to make it smooth and easy for John to get everything rolling. Yes the payouts might be smaller and fewer people get paid, but you don't have to share it ;)

What do you think about penalizing people two points (from the leaderboard) when they leave prior to the play-offs and their team makes the play-offs. This would move them down the leaderboard and could cause them to miss the cut in following weeks when the attendance is max'd out. Other than that everything seems to be fair. Keep up the good work fella's

I just got off the phone with Mr. Gabris. He brought up some interesting points. It seems we are on the verge of losing a good amount of A pool players and conversely C pool players as well. This system just isn't working. It is really hard to create a level of fairness each week when we are bumping A's to B, B's to C, etc. For example, Lance was really putting well last night but it was only marginally better than any other given night so keeping him in B pool makes no sense. A f ... more

I think you have cashed 3 out of 6 weeks which is more than most.
I actually have thought about running 2 pools generating 2 payouts.
*Warning, by splitting the pools the payouts would be reduced to only those in that pool.
So if there are only 24 people in an A Pool, there would only be 4 spots paid out with $60 being the top cash.
I would have to minimally redo some of my Excel files just to reflect play on 2 courts as opposed to 4. This could actually be done on the fly so it shouldn ... more

Its not a bad idea joe. If we do continue with the doubles format tho, I believe it works better when its just a straight A/B pool.

Joe g for president. But I don't agree with anything he said, he says it in a way that makes me want to agree. I see disc golf politics in your future.

What a downer last night was! I really think that we need change. I think that we should play singles with two pools (A+B) each pool will generate it's own payouts. Two matches will take place head to head at each court so that the time frame will stay the same, actually it will go quicker not having to draw teams or manipulate a way to make three pools (this usually equalls 45mins). This will encourage each player to get better rather than depend on drawing a good partner (weak sauce). If ... more

I left a brown Dohm winter hat on the windowsill by the fireplace last night. If found and returned I will gladly buy you a beer next week at putting.

I am bringing 2 Chainstar's tomorrow.
One is assembled, one is not.

For thos coming to the Sterling Heights Putting Palace - I could use some help putting the backets together and taking apart the two Sports.

Just like his sex life, dave drinks too much and struggles to finish. At the end he gets a limp putter.

Shaun, there is no doubt that Krystal is an elite putter and most likely should be in A pool. Mike, Krystal did not take me out this week nor did I get a chance to putt against her. Last week however, I did and I happened to make every single putt that game and dominated. Ask her. Kt, blind squirrels, nuts, blah blah blah.

What are you trying to say KT?

Even though I did stomp dave head to head, he is elite at putting league. Unlike krystal he gets c pool partners. And she putts am side.
