SANCTIONED LEAGUE ROUNDS - 2023
We have officially sanctioned this league for the 2023 season. There will be 3 PDGA league sessions:
Session 1 (10 weeks) 4/15-6/14
Session 2 (10 weeks) 6/21-8/23
Session 3 (8 weeks) 8/30-10/18
We will still travel around like we did in years past but this year your weekly rounds will receive a PDGA rating and PDGA points for participating.

League is canceled for this evening 8/23/2023 at Sunny Lake. Steady rain over the past few hours has soaked the course, it would be a muddy mess! The threat of additional thunderstorms over the next few hours makes this a no brainer. Get out and throw a casual round if you want, nobody likes sloppy PDGA rated rounds. Stay safe out there!

Is the league long tees to long baskets?
Course and layout changes weekly. Today (7/5) will be at Portage Lakes and the layout is Long tees to short baskets

League is canceled tonight 6/28/2023 due to unsafe air quality. The smoke is THICK here in Aurora. We are following PDGA guidelines canceling this week's event. Stay safe out there everyone!

Any word on if we're playing tonight with the air quality?

The Bag Tag Kickoff event has been scheduled for Sunday April 24th at Hudson Springs DGC. The Tag Singles league points series will now kickoff with this event. You will receive League points for the kickoff event just like we awarded in the league last year. These results, once posted, will also show the tag number that was awarded to each player to start the season. Can't wait to see our club members climbing the tag ranks throughout the season! Who wants that GOLD CLUB status?
Don Ellesin February 28, 2022 at 1:59pm
When do you start this year? Where?
The schedule is updated here on the league disc golf scene page. Our first tag event will be the bag tag kickoff on April 24th at Hudson Springs Park followed by our first wednesday tag singles league event on 4/27 at Portage Lakes.

Congratulations to Jill Rafferty for hitting the ACE tonight at Wingfoot for $142!!! Dan Kilgore hit $250 last week at Boettler. We have paid out $392 in ACE POT $ in the month of October!$!$! What a way to finish the season!!! Thank you everyone for the support all year! We had a total of 113 golfers attend the singles league this year with an average of 25-35 each week. We raised over $500 for the club which will go to good use on our courses soon.
Summit DGA ROCKS!!!

Bag Tag Singles will be at Johnson UMC this Wednesday teeing off at 6pm throwing the short layout. ACE RUNS with a $200 Capped Ace Pot and $50 secondary Ace Pot, who is gonna hit the ACE???
Patrick Conway July 19, 2021 at 2:34pm
What layout are you using at JUMC this week (July 21st), shorts or longs ? We will adapt the mowing pattern accordingly , Thanks, hope to be there.
I think there is more long tees done then shorts by only one tho. 11 teepads were poured. Both on 1, long only on 2.,short on 14,both on 15,16 17, long only on 18
Let's do short layout to make things easier on the Johnson work horses (we appreciate all that you guys do!!!) Plus we have a $200 Ace pot, hoping someone hits it this week!!!
LETS GO. I can’t wait to lower my rating lol
Also for the people without PDGA memberships…. Do you have to have a membership to participate or can anyone still show up? And if I’m feeling like trash one night do I have to sign up as sanctioned or can I just play to play?
You do not need to be a PDGA member to play in league. This could be an opportunity to gauge what your rating would be & what division to sign up for if you decide to play in tournaments. If you sign up for league the round will get reported to the PDGA to help keep things simple for the league ... more

If you sign up for league the round will get reported to the PDGA to help keep things simple for the league directors since there will be multiple league directors helping this season. If you feel like trash you probably shouldn't be at league anyways or playing casual elsewhere. LOL :-P
Hey I was just asking the questions for anyone curious! We already know my rounds will be trash but I’m in! I’ve been begging for sanctioned leagues lol
If I don’t need a pdga number I may come out and see how I do atleast ! Didn’t shoot the best last time I went there but can’t hold that against it forever ????
Most fun wins Zachary! We would love to have you come out again soon.
I’ll be out today for the grass man ! $10 correct ?
