Random draw best shot doubles. Ace pool,ctps,points and playoffs. Membership gets you a 100% Payout for an ace, as well as a premium plastic custom stamped club disc
So here is the breakdown, an all in entry of $15. $7-payouts, $2-cash ctps,$2-merch ctps,$2-playoff pot,and $2-acepool.
A new scoring method will be used this upcoming season as well.10-points for a perfect game. 6-points for first place or an ace. 4-points for second place, 2- points for third pl.,ctp, attendance and or a dot. Yes I said it, any metal hit from the tee will help launch you into the playoffs.

Results !

Congratulations to Bob Barker and Jay Binienda. Our S.D.G.C. Champions!
runners up were Bob Turner and Mike Handley followed by Joe Palomba and Jay Moyer. Taking a $42 cash ctp was Mike Francisco. Steve Tioran and Jason Riberas winning a 3 disc merchandise ctp each.
I want to thank everyone that supported this league, with attendance, donations and contributions. Such as Oxford beverage of Grosse Pointe, and Joe Palomba. Hope everyone had fun. Hope to see everyone and more, next spring. S.D.G.C. Has moved to Saturdays at 4:30 for the winter.

Playoff time!

Top 10 point earners get a custom made limited edition trophy whether they can attend or not. The top 12 point earning members, that can attend will get into the playoff. The top 6 will draw for partners amongst themselves and seeds 7 thru 12 amongst themselves. The pot is $800 minus $200 for trophy and party expenses, leaving $600 to be paid out to 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th places. regrettably some players may not be able to attend and unfortunately we do not have the ability to delay until a magical ... more

League Party!

The last night for points will be on September 27th. The league party will be the following morning Saturday the 28th. tee off scheduled for around 11-1130am. We will be doing pulled pork sandwiches and beverages for any members that can attend. We will also have a side round of doubles for those who are not in the playoff so every one is welcome.

Week #16

As of 2pm the forecast calls for a 30% chance of scattered showers at only one hundredth of an inch, with temps in the mid to low 80s. That being said League on!. Ace pool has been reset so there will be a 100% Payout if hit regardless of membership. Bring fluids and possibly an umbrella. Hope to see many tonight and S.D.G.C. would like to wish everyone a happy and safe 4th of July weekend.

Points are fixed, Francisco has a disc coming. New policy moving forward from this point will be any unclaimed merchandise or cash will be forwarded to the playoff pot.

Yes. This will be one out of five rounds this season. We will also do things like worst shot and putters only etc. We will play 3 man teams if we have the proper number of registrants.

Congrats to Erik Scott for hitting the first ace of the season. Thanks to Mike Henry and Joe B. For showing us how it's done. Also thanks to Ted Swarthout from Detroit Disc for a nice 2-piece donation, which will be an added ctp in next week's round.

I was thinking about 3 man teams anytime we have a registaint number that evenly divides by 3. We could still vote on layout.
