Peaks and Creeks 2021 Tag season will begin the first of February. Tags are meant to be a fun and challenging way to play within our club and track your progress throughout the 2021 year! Tags members also have the privilege of being a voting club member.
Tags rules are as follows:
Tags can be played for at any casual round, league event, or tournament (PDGA sanctioned or Non-sanctioned) or any 18 Hole round where at least 2 tagholding members are present and in possession of a 2021 tag. All PDGA Rules of Play should be adhered to during tag rounds.
Tag play is not restricted to stroke play formatted rounds. Tags can be played for in match/skins play formats. (For handicap events lowest non-handicapped score will get lowest available tag and so on...)
Any tag holder can call out another tag up to 10 tags ahead of them (ie no.9 may challenge no.1, no.11 may challenge no.1, but no.12 may not challenge no.1). Challenges will consist of the lower tag party contacting the challenger and setting up a round(s) of play. The round must be played within a 2 week time frame or the higher tag holder will forfeit their tag to the lower person.
(PLEASE come out and play as frequently as possible, we do understand life happens, if your a higher tag holder please feel free to give up your tag for a lower until your return.)
Tags shall be on the line at any and all club events to be played of a standard singles scoring format (ie. a doubles event or an event with mulligans or second shots should not constitute a tag match). Tags must be collected and all parties involved must be made made aware that tags are on the line BEFORE event start. It is the responsibility of the highest tag winner to report scores and tag standings.
Tag rounds can be played at any course and any layout.
