Final 2 weeks of league!

This weeks format will be 1 disc per hole and there will be a maximum of 3 holes allowed per disc so if you normally throw a single mold on more than 3 holes you might want to put your backup of that mold in the bag. This means you need to carry at least 6 discs with you. If you do not have 6 discs let me know and I may be able to lend you a disc or two to complete your round at least. I believe this will help you learn similar things to the 1 disc night and putters only but do so in a different ... more

Drivers for show Putters for dough

You must drive with a 7 speed (or higher) disc . . .anything after the drive you may use anything . . . after a lot of thought I do believe there is something that can be learned from this format and I am sincerely out of other ideas. I personally throw drivers on some shorter holes specifically when I want to take advantage of the glide of the drivers or if I am fearful of flipping over one of my mid-ranges even though I could throw a perfect shot and get there.

Mulligan Night

Hey everyone , . . I am still playing catchup with my last minute preparations for the Zobel Open next weekend so I am just going to pick this week as the simple format called Mulligan Night. Mulligans may be used at any time for a missed putt to an errant drive . . . I only ask that you determine that you want to use the mulligan from the tee and immediately re-throw. Also you are not forced to use your mulligan throw if it happens to be worse than your first throw . . . you can choose the best ... more

Manic Mondays is BACK as of 6/1 with new rules!

Manic Mondays will begin on 6/1

Rolling starts will be the new norm for now where groups of 3 or 4 people will head out on the course as soon as they arrive and are prepared to play. Arrive no earlier than 5:00 PM but no later than 6:00 PM grab a group and go.

Social distancing will still be encouraged and enforced if necessary so please don't give group hugs, share discs with each other, or congregate in the parking lot.

Hopefully we can return to normal eventually . . . but this may be the new norm!

I look forward to seeing you all very soon!

Manic Mondays and all area DGX leagues are currently suspended!

We have had to force the delay to the start of all disc golf leagues due to the coronavirus concerns. If I am able to find a different way of operating leagues that is still allowed within the safety guidelines I will announce that when I am able. If there is no way for them to happen at this time we will simply wait until we are given the OK by the local municipality and other governing officials and begin at that time. That might mean shortened or even lengthened sessions for each league. Just ... more
