The weather is not looking especially great for today (Sunday Nov 21) but the league is STILL ON regardless (as long as there is no thunder/lightning). Bring your rain gear as it is going to be a wet one, folks!

Heads up to all league players: a disc was found on the course the evening of Oct-31 (our last league round) with NO INK. There were several other groups that played on Sunday as well (non league players) so it isn't necessarily from league. If you find that you did in fact lose a disc that day, please PM me with the details (color, model, where you think you lost it, etc) so that I can return it!

Special thanks to Pat Conway for adding an extra $2 to the Ace Pot this week, to bring it to an even $50 for today. Nobody hit an ace, so the pot will only be bigger next week!

Just wanted to give a shoutout to Dave's Dyes for the donations today helping to bump our Ace pot up, and for the $10 cash CTP! The Ace pot now sits at at least $33 for next week. Thanks again, Dave!

Just so that all players are aware, for the this league the "TWO-ON-ONE" rule is in effect! All players may take a second drive on hole #1 (OR your starting hole, if other than hole #1) and play from either drive. This is ONLY for your tee shot, and only on your starting hole (use it or lose it!). If there is a CTP, then ONLY the first drive counts for the CTP. Any questions, ask Justin!

I have added a points series to the league, JUST FOR FUN and bragging rights. Here is how our points will work:
Each week, every player gets 3 points just for showing up (participation points) and 1 point for each player they beat that week (e.g. 2nd place out of 10 players gets 3+8 = 11 points). However, everyone will get at least 5 points per week (e.g. 9th place out of 10 players would have received 3+1=4 points, but would get the 5 point minimum that week).

The first one is Thursday 11/4 6-8pm. He posted in NEO Disc Golf Alliance on FB. He posted to bring 5 putters and it's $5
It's a good thing it's only 5 putters because that's all I got lol
Just wanted to add a couple things: there will be TWO divisions so that A players and B players aren't going against each other, and out of the $5 entry, $1 goes to course maintenance/improvement and $4 to payouts. If you don't happen to have 5 putters, bring what you have and come join us anyway - I will bring some extras!
