I am heading to 7 oaks today after work. planning on being there around 5ish(depending on traffic). anyone up for a round?

Haha! I'm the exact same way! I have to compete in everything I do, and the bad thing is, my wife is the same way. It takes a tole on our marriage because we have to compete over everything! haha. Thanks for clarifying Adam. I was just bored at work and curious since Shane posed those point totals. I'm just competative by nature and I'd play you for who gets the last piece of carrot cake or the last jolly rancher. I can't help myself. You guys are doing a good thing, and we all are having fun. That is what is really important.

Sorry, I miss spoke in the flyer on the page on this website when I said "payouts throughout the year." What I meant was that there will be payouts at the end of the year for who does the best in the monthly's. For instance, the top 10 or so guys who have the most points at the end of the year will receive pay outs. Then there will be another pay out for the final tournament. So, there is a total of 2 payouts. Both will be happening at the end of the year. Again, ... more

What is the other payout you are going to have?

I'm curious because I've lost that initial flyer I was given and read this on the front page here:

There will be seasonal pay outs throughout the year and also a big tournament at the end of the year where we will link up with Love's discs for a big tournament and big pay outs for the top bag tags. So, $20.00 is a very good deal to join this bag tag because there will be great pay outs throughout the year and at the end of the year."

But hadn't heard any talk of these seasonal payouts after doing several of these events now. Not fussing...just asking. $20 isn't gonna make or break any of us, just curious what we have to look forward to in the coming months.

The point system consist of: if you come to an event you get 1 point, then for every other person that is there that you beat you earn a point. There have been 6 events so far: 4 monthly events so far, then in January we did a monthly with MTDGA at Barfield and then the Cross Town Open. The points system will determine the payout for the monthlys at the end of the year. Remember this is only one of the two different payouts we are going to have.

Also after further discussion Adam and I decided that the Bowling Green AMs were not going to count for a monthly as points. We did switch tags as we will at tournys but we decided not to do points on it due to the fact of people playing different courses and scores were jumbled. Most all the other tournys will still count to points. Each time we will let everyone know.

Craig its kinda a long story but they tied at Music City for 1st. To everyone tho thank you for coming out on Sunday was a great turn out and hope to keep seeing that happen. I know the buzz is already getting out now and we are growing. I have already received two messages of people wanting to join after hearing about Sunday. Things are getting better for us ... more

Just a heads up to everyone Adam and I are working on something big for the finals. Just to keep everyone excited and help grow, a little sneak peak on the behind the scenes: we are talking and working with Love's Discs, Cloud 9, and Dynamic Discs. So get the word out, the more players the better the prizes. Later today I am going to post up the league standings on the monthly by points so check back tonight.

Hey guys! Good job at the BG am's! It was a lot of fun! For some reason Ephram White was not on disc golf scene so I couldn't put our scores in for that. Sorry about that. I hope to see everyone Sunday @ 3:00pm at 2 Rivers. The new layout should be a lot of fun!

You can repost them again Craig and I can verify, but I will go ahead and put this in for ya. I'm going to leave Ben and Linden's tags the way they are since they haven't switched, that way we know which one they have in hand. Ben needs to make sure he is seen so he can get his lower tag.

Yea, it sure was cold though. I got home and just couldn't get warm till I hit the shower. They raised a good bit of money to help out Josh. I am really glad everybody came together to help him out. It could have been any one of us guys.

I just submitted it, but poor ole Linden aint gonna be happy. Big Ben Traughber took him down by 2 strokes(116 to 118) and the two of them need to swap tags. Was there anyone else there? I only remember the 3 of us...
