NO LEAGUES THIS SUNDAY DUE TO ICE. Just went outside and everything is covered in ice. Don't want to see anyone get hurt trying to get to leagues or playing. Spread the word.

The delay in the storm starting may bring issues for tomorrow morning. Stay tuned to see if leagues are canceled or not. We don't want anyone to get hurt getting there or on tee pads.

I know it. I still played em. Had to enjoy the fruits of my labor.

Joshua "Tree" Bucher    December 21, 2013 at 9:49pm

Just a thought, we should get together and put some salt down before the ice

I am down. I can grab some I live 5 minutes from Kton. I could be there probably around 3 due to work

Anyone who plays the toboggan course at Kensington should take a ride along the Spring Hill Rd. Massive amounts of invasive species(Autumn Olive, Tri-Color rosebushes, prickly ash and more have been removed. It will be different.

Will you trade for plastic?

Jeff Kaluk    November 19, 2013 at 9:14am

Thanks goes to the staff of club Kensington and their hard work for Sundays event. Andrew Przytulski taking names, writing scores and posting scores, Dave Dirmeyer taking names helping with scores and CTP, Grant Ward running CTP, and Lyle Downing helping with scores and CTP. These guys help make the league what it is and deserve a big hand.

It's all lies, Towley

Jeff Kaluk   November 20, 2013 at 4:41pm

You need 3 others that will make the trip with you and split the gas. Lol.

Bryan Centers   November 21, 2013 at 9:53am

^^^ And don't forget to bring a towel!!

Jeff Kaluk    November 19, 2013 at 4:37am

Scores will be posted soon. It's not easy logging in players and scores for 121 league players. Please be patient. If you played and want your scores to link, please message me you pdga# or email.
A quick summary from Sunday: 4 groups shot -9 from all longs. Each of the 8 players received a $53 payout. Mark Ellis hit the amazing $2030 ace on hole 14! Hope everyone had a good time in the rain and wind even after we all had heard about the ace half way through the round.

Please remember to bring EXACT CHANGE. $5 entry, $5 ace pool. Help us keep the sign in process run smoothly. That means no $100, $50,$20 dollar bills. Go to Holden's At the north exit to the park in Milford a buy something if you need change. They have tons of discs, breakfast pizza, snacks, smokes and tons of other stuff. Sign in starts around 9:30 and cuts off at 10:45 sharp. Don't be late!

FYI- we have only missed one scheduled Sunday in 6 years due to weather. That was a heavy, heavy, steady rain. We have played in the rain, snow, high winds and even a blizzard. I don't expect tomorrow to be any different. Layout my change due to weather, but count on it, we will play

Ed Carpus   November 16, 2013 at 5:37pm

Doesnt look like the heavy stuff's going to come down till later anyway!

Jeff Kaluk    November 14, 2013 at 3:39am

Only 15 people on the home page for Sunday. We may be lucky to hit 30 players.

One suggestion, I think with course being full you should designate which hole every group must start on. I'll be there early and hope I get in :)

That's what i hope happens. Nothing like prepping for a tournament Friday after work for Sunday

Ed Carpus   November 14, 2013 at 10:12am

Capping worked out well for us last year, especially since you pay out 100%, its a bit heartbreaking when 12 people show up the week after 165...

Bryan Centers   November 14, 2013 at 10:39am

Cap it. Someone will hit. Roll monies into next pool. Thanks for all your hard work Jeff and staff.

Jeff Kaluk    November 9, 2013 at 9:54pm

Tomorrow we will be playing 1-18 long, 19-27 shorts. Please get there early due to the possible large turnout.

Another reason for longs....short tees only tend to have multiple ties with large groups.

Amateur Hour   November 9, 2013 at 7:57pm

18 shorts twice :)

I want to thank Dave Milewski for providing the answer to the month long score posting BS I have been dealing with. I have a thank you gift for you on Sunday Dave. Thanks again. 50 players. 1ST -13 John Mcclenahan and *John McAskin $100. Grant Ward wins the post round CTP with an ace. But don't worry. The regular ace pool is still building and will start Sunday at $990. Could be close to $1,300 +- for an ace this week. Cut off is 10:45 sharp. Not 10:50, not 11:00. Don't miss out this week.

Hey Jeff, I'm thinking about checking out this league tomorrow. What is the typical time frame start to finish? Trying to figure out if I get to see any of Lions game. Thanks!

Jeff Kaluk   November 9, 2013 at 11:40am

Try and be there no later than 10:30 and we should be payed out by 3. No guarantees though with a huge turnout.
