Club Kensington cleaned up at the State Finals, closing out the Men's Pro divisions ( Mosier, Swan, Ellis) and Am 3 (Andrew Przytulski). Has any club ever closed out the Pros at States before? Lots of other cashing league members, too.
Good courses and good competition will always build winners. The State is now on notice: fear the Black Locust.
Jeff Kaluk August 29, 2011 at 5:54am
There will be no leagues next week due to State Finals.

41 players this Sunday. Way to go Norm Raby and Mark Ellis shooting -15 on 1-18 longs 19-27 shorts. Mike Rohloff wins the putting challenge and Barry Hutton wins the CTP. Thanks and see you next week

You cannot buy it (like everyone else said), but you can do what I am doing. Pay 10 buck on Friday before States, and play the "Last Chance Qualifier." They always say that you have to play a round, and not everyone will make it. Every year, every single person who played the Last Chance Qualifier was able to play States.
Jeff Kaluk August 21, 2011 at 2:54pm
Corrrect Joe. You cannot buy a berth.
Jason, You are looking in good position to get on Sunday. Win the putting challenge again and you are in.
Joe Anttila August 21, 2011 at 2:58am
I see. Thanks.
Jason, my understanding is you can't buy a berth because it needs to be obtained thru a 'competition'. Basically, you have to win it.

Sunday we will be awarding State Berts to the top 5 in points who do not already have a berth. First we will award the putting challenge and ctp total points winners. After all that we will have 1 berth to give away randomly.
