Clark wins the final week and makes it a tie for #1 Overall

While most players were strugling with their game as if it were week 1. Clark was knocking down Birdies. He was rewarded with another weekly win and the points moved him into a Tie for 1st with Sowell. However, after counting who had the best raw score between the players Clark graciously accepted 2nd place.

Claystone League extended through Sept 8th

I've considered all your input on extending the league. We are going to extend the league through Sept 8th. Tatnall's league ends Sept 7th so we can schedule an awards ceremony for both leagues. PARTY!!! I wish we could play further into September but the Sun begins to set around 7:40 PM Sept 15th. I will begin planning the awards ceremony. Remember the top 10 will receive prizes! I'll have further info coming.

Harrison Wins but Gort scores new course record!

Bryan Gort joined the league two weeks ago recording a 53 raw score for his 1st round. He took a week off and returned yesterday to record a 42 or -12 for his second round, and crushing the course record by 2 strokes. WOW!!! Disappointingly he wasn't elegible for the win but be on the lookout moving foward this guy is going to be a force! John Harrison had a break out round posting a 47. It was a tight race with John & Reid Harrison at -8 after 11 holes but as the storm blew in the younger Harrison found himself out of bounds repeatedly.

3 Way tie for #1 - MONSTER ACE ON #16

Two astonishing events happend during week 10 play at Claystone. Paul Welch finished 2nd to last allowing Clark and Sowell to move into a 3 way tie with Welch for the lead 4 points ahead of Rogers. Reid Harrison banged chain on #16 for his 3rd ace on the course. R Harrison now has an ace on holes 6,11, &16. Jonny Jeter is 2 points behind Johnny Harrison or as the club likes to call him, "the real Johnny 5", who is 5th.

Chapman edges Long & Sowell for week 8 win

5 players scored a raw score of 56 during week 8 but it was magic for only Nate Chapman. Combined with a -8 handicap Chapman scored a 48 and just beat out Cam Long and Jesse Sowell's 49. Welch turned a 3 point lead into a 10 point lead in the overall standings and firmly stands in first place, followed by Sowell and Rogers with 60 points and John Harrison and Clark with 59. Cam Long maybe the player to watch, he's dropped 10 strokes from his 1st week score and has moved up to 12th p ... more

I'm meeting with the Dir. of Macon Parks & Rec Monday morning at the course and I'll have more info. Claystone League to change name to Welch's B#tches

Were not really going to change the name but this guy is throwing down some serious domination on the league. He's won twice despite ranging from a -2 handicap to a +1. He has a 9 point lead on 2nd place and always in the running Jesse Sowell. Somebody hide his discs, PLEASE!
