What a summer! Thanks everyone for playing, it was a blast! Standings are now finalized with all applicable drops. Plan is for next week to be awards where you will be able to collect your disc, shirt, medals & baskets where applicable (1st place for am divisions win a basket, 1st - 3rd will medal) Meet @ Burch 6pm for awards and if there is interest we will do a $5 cash random flip doubles Short-Short round.

Would it hurt the people on my card if I DNF'd a round? I am not sure if I can physically finish the round, but I don't want to try if it's gonna ruin someone else's card.

Joe, no it won't hurt the people on your card if you DNF. If you're injured, don't push yourself too hard, it'll only push back your recovery. If you do decide that you can't finish the round, and that would leave your group with less than 3 players, it would be preferred if ... more

Layout for this week: Hey All, I had hoped to do River's Edge as our last round of the year, but due to the rain and seeing how high the river was @ woods I just don't think that's going to be a good idea. Berths will be awarded following the conclusion of the round next week so that all berth winners can sign up for the State Championships by the deadline of 8/23. I will post here when I have emailed MDGO the status of our awarded berths, and have the berth packages for you at awards on 8/25.

We went with Discraft this year, it was the overwhelming favorite last year and we were able to secure the order this year so just ran with it.

How do we handle rounds where some people can't play due to weather? As in thunderstorms are likely tomorrow and might prevent some people from playing.

I will have to think of a good way to handle this if we have inclement weather that would prevent players from finishing a round, as it's not quite the same as running out of daylight. Regardless, it looks like the storms should pass by 2 today and all players should have adequate time to finish their rounds.

Josh are we getting our Discraft that we voted for last year? I don’t expect to see it until we enter match play. Are we doing a match play final this year? Hope so, Kirby get ready hahaha.
I recall someone finding a pink MVP disc but I don't think it had a name on it. Can't remember who picked it up though.
