About this League

Mixed league - 13 all-time players - 0 active players
$5.00 player fee each session
$1.00 ace pool entry
We are a metro area travel league that operates mainly in Livingston, Washtenaw, and Oakland counties. In existence since 2004, the CADGL has been a relatively small, semi-private league. We are open to growth in numbers, but we would like it to remain a league that is still more fun than work. The overall goal is for serious, competitive play with a laid back touch. See our league news for a more detailed outline of CADGL 2012.

Revamped point system

We had a point system in the past that with all good intentions caused more headaches than what it was worth. After much consideration and research, I decided to develop a point system that is more detailed and besed on a slew of performance based incentives. This will hopefully provide for a fair and better measure of performance.

League dollars

League dollars are collected as part of your registration (the two dollars of entry fee that doesn't go into payout) and are used to cover league expenses. I do put my own $ into the ring to help make this better and better, so any little bit helps. While we are still relatively small, with a little growth, these expenses will be more easily covered, which will allow for a dollar of the registration to eventually be shifted from league dollars to the payout instead. It's a nice litt ... more

Payout and ace pool

Event payout will be announced before the event after registration is complete. For events where there are seven players or less, it's winner take all. Payout for events with a field of eight or more players will be split 2/3 of pot to winner and 1/3 to second place. Payout in doubles play is like that of singles, except instead of seven players or less for winner take all, it's seven teams or less, and so on. Members of paid teams are to split their winnings 50/50.

League Participation

To participate in CADGL league events you must have the minimum $5 entry fee. The fee is broken down like this.........$3 goes toward the event payout and $2 goes toward league expenses (trophies, awards, etc.). The other fee is $1 for the ace pool, which is optional.
This is a friendly league, but not a kid friendly league. The presence of children causes too much distraction for some, so kids are not permitted.
