24 Cha!ns Summer 2012
Mixed league
Pirate Bay!!! Put so much work into it might as well enjoy it!
votes for this friday??
True dat son. Most of the OB out there is fairly obvious but being a event is being play should be marked so that everyone playing knows what is what.
gravel on eight was always ob but has never been defined very well.
for the tournament Sunday- ob is the road, the gravel path (part of the original design and way it was played), the river obviously, and the parking lot (defined by the metal rope- cleanest defining line)
The ONLY OB should be the road on #9 as it would be stupid to play it where it lies in the road, #1 and #6 have safety reasons why I personally believe mando's should be in place. I wouldn't want to be putting on #1 or Driving on #5 and hit with a disc :/
lol....24 Cha!ns doesn't play OB, unless it's a money round and even that is open for debate/vote :)
#9 should be mando free. OB obviously is the Road. Miah's one-of-a-kind super anhy should be fine. No safety hazards. The Longs for #1 are far enough away and a heizer has a more likely chance to stray right to #1 longs than any Anhy.
As far as mando's go?
Not that I care or anything, but what about Miah's over the road and trees giant backhand anhyzer on hole 9?
Sounds good, I got a wheel barrow any ways for easier transporting of woodchips. I will be there with KC Tuesday.
I called the city to ask about Wood chipping holes 2 - 6. Cross your fingers that I can sweet talk them into it. Sean, keep a eye out for miah and his big red truck. He said that he might stop by and finish one of the field holes tee pads on his way home.
I will be there! Oid and Jeff P. will probably show up as well.
there will be some CHAAA like stuff happening at RoHi, sometime this evening 5:30-6 for those interested.
I would like to thank Mike Even, Miah Swain, Cassidy Mayne, Dan Whitlock, Sean Newland, Felicia Sills, K.C. Skedzielewski, Steve Tubbert, Anthony Voss, Stevo Masten, Sheldon Bowen for coming out and spending a Saturday morning to fix up a forgotten course.
I think that the work that was done is a great step toward fixing this course up and hopefully with the motivation of others and within ourselves we can make this course something that people will want to play (at least once). Future wo ...

As the Admiral and I were packing up, he was already talking about a mandated game this Friday at the Bay. I am sure we do some cleaning up as we play since their is a supposed Tourney to benefit Pirate Bay's restoration. I'll bring some smaller hand tools for any last minute clean up. Course was looking SICK! Great work from all that attended
Sean and I will probably be out at WW or tuesday to try and get some more work done, ~5:45 till dusk
