It's official. I will be at the Ninja round this Saturday in Albion. And, to everyone's delight (I'm sure), I will have some TWIZBEE stuff with me.

First of all, book reports ARE due....soon. I will be there to collect them. If you have lost the literature we gave you earlier this year, you are in luck. I have more books and I will be bringing them with me. Even if you don't want to write another report for more points, you may enjoy the books I have to offer.

Well, it's happened. Someone in Plano, TX is just as excited as we are for National Hummus Day. So excited in fact that they sent the coupons early. WAAAAAYY early. Hummus Day is May 13th. I got the coupons this week. Aaannd, they expire January 31, 2021. Yep. Next month. I'll come up with some way of getting them out to you as soon as I can. It may involve a Ninja round and some travel, but, for a coupon, I mean, c'mon, you know you'll be there. Sure you will. And, by the way, congratulations to Ben Demory on the ace. Well struck sir.

My favorite active league with a shout-out kudos?! I feel loved and acknowledged. Thank you, Brad. You know Cam and I will attend any semi official event or gathering. Excited to see you fine folks again.

brad chartier    December 3, 2020 at 12:23am

And you thought we were done for the year. Nope. I'm still waiting on a bunch of book reports for those that want to get a jump on next year's points race.

And, fanfare please, we have secured our first corporate sponsor for 2021. SABRA has agreed to help us celebrate May 13th.

Keep watching this spot for more announcements through the winter. Thank you for your time and attention.

I couldn't agree with Steve more. Youse guyz are great and it was a pleasure being out there this year with all of you.

The Lost and Found round was a success. Unofficial amount raised was $271.00. A couple people paid via Paypal so I have to confirm with Groot, but that number should hold up.
The funds raised will go to North Star Reach for improvement to the course at the camp. Thanks to all who turned in or donated discs. And yes, we will do it again. So, keep those lost discs ... more

WOW.....the second season of TWIZBEE is now in the books.

First, thank you to everyone who came out to support our efforts to raise money to help North Star Reach. Congrats to Tyler Kinley, Jacob "Executor" Belmas, and Trevor Staples on taking down the first three places and winning some VERY generous CJ's gift certificates. Tyler also took the TWIZBEE Lost and Found Cryztal Bowl Trophy. Congrats to Todd Cavender for taking home the Kestral bag. This was a blast of a ro ... more

Thank you SOOO MUCH to A3 for a GREAT summer and a great experience. I LOVE the Kestrel bag and have already put it through the paces! Thank you Steve and Brad for making Thursday something to look forward to!

brad chartier   September 2, 2020 at 10:50pm

Thanks for the kind words and all the disc donations. Hope you can make it back next year!

brad chartier    August 27, 2020 at 12:09am

Ok, one last thing. Trades will be allowed, between players. NOT between your two new discs and your bag. I also have 9 extra discs, one mid and some drivers if someone would want to take advantage of that option as well.

I'll try to make this brief.
Thursday is the Lost and Found Round at Hudson Mills, the Original Course. I know I said it would start about 5, but, I have been putting in some extra time at work this week. Sooo, I may be able to get out about 2, which would put me at Hudson Mills about 3, soo, we can start some time after 3.

Is there a set tee off time? I cant make it til closer to 430/5

brad chartier   August 27, 2020 at 3:18pm

With darkness coming earlier, we'd like to have everyone out by 5:30. If we can keep the cards small, we should be fine. I will be out there about 3ish so some can start that early.

brad chartier    August 23, 2020 at 12:38am

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or tapped. Our ace pool has been tapped out. Congratulations to Tyler Kinley and Mike Magner for hitting aces at Bandemer this past Thursday. AND, Mike did it on the Cash CTP hole, which I didn't pay out because I had to make sure the Ace pool money was split accordingly. So Mike, I owe you more money.

Tyler also took home the Mystery CTP. In honor of National Radio Day, he won a 9 volt battery for his old transistor radio (it was actually a rad ... more

Groot just got me so excited, I almost wet my pants. I had asked him to see if he could rustle up some prize vouchers for the Lost and Found Round for North Star Reach

He came through, it's kind of his thing. I asked that he get something from somebody, didn't care who, for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Discraft, God love 'em, is sending over some vouchers. I don't want to announce how much they are for until we have them in hand and I can verify the amounts. So, stay tune ... more

I have some discs to donate. Will you still be accepting them tonight?

brad chartier    August 18, 2020 at 9:08pm

I forgot to honor last weeks winners. Taking home the Cash CTP was Brian Guo. Tyler Kinley won the Disc CTP. Taking second on the Mystery CTP hole was Chris Kerns and winning the Mystery CTP hole was Jason Kaliszewski. Congratulations to one and all.

Chris, if you come out this week, we will have a double prize for you. Besides your second place prize for the CTP, you can also pick up the award you won at our Mid-Season Award Night.

this coming Thursday. Bandemer. A round of whites and a round of reds with the CTPs on the REDS only.

It is also National Radio Day. To honor this occasion, after the round, we will have our own little radio station trivia contest. With prizes from a real radio station. I have culled the vastness of the internet and pulled some questions (and answers) from real, live radio stations. The first person to answer the question correctly wins the prize I pull from the Tote Bag of Swag.

Thursday. MBD. Short tees. Ace pool up for grabs on every hole. I don't know about you, but I'm a little tingly right now.

Also, we have state championship berths to award tomorrow.

it is also International Pirate Month. We will have eye patches available for those of you looking for extra points. Since it is berthing night, technically it is a little late for the extra points. But we may consider a point carry over for next year, especially since I assigned book reports th ... more

Is this mbd round going to be taken into account for a final tally?

brad chartier   August 13, 2020 at 12:11am

Unfortunately Kenny, we do not do make up rounds for this league.

brad chartier   August 13, 2020 at 2:36am

Ben, yes. The round tomorrow will be counted. For the record, Steve is partial to Oberon.

brad chartier    August 11, 2020 at 12:02am

just a quick plug for the TWIZBEE Lost and Found Round on the 27th.

The premise is simple. We have been scouring the countryside in search of lost discs. As of now, we have about 100. For the round, which is a fundraiser for North Star Reach, you pay $20. In return you will receive a bag, two lost and found discs and $5.00 of the entry fee will go to a 50/50 ace pool, with 50% going to North Star Reach. Go ahead and Google this organization, but, please wait until you have read this whole ... more

Rolling Hills this week, short tees. I might be running a little late so Steve is going to get things started.

Sorry, no Mystery CTP this week. So it looks like $7 all n for ace, dues, cash and disc ctps. $5 with the TWIZBEE card.

A big thanks to Randy "Shide-Arm" Shideler for donating 27 DISCS for the Lost and Found Round on August 27. This is the fundraiser for an improved course for North Star Reach. More of the details are being worked out. Plan on Hudson Mills. Course ... more

I guess we found the way to get people to stay after the round. Feed them. Thanks to Steve for providing the great Dearborn hot dogs, the buns, the chips, the table settings and the fire for the post round cookout in honor of National Hot Dog Month.

Speaking of hot dogs, congratulations to Dakota for winning the Mystery CTP. A gift card for $27.83 to Ray's Red Hots in Ann Arbor. (Dakota, when you go there, ask for Phil, he is the guy in charge. Thank him for helping with the Mystery ... more

Maybe not at Rolling, but I will be running aces at Mary Beth Doyle. Not to worry, I will spend your money wisely.

Tomorrow night. Bandemer. One round of white and one round of blue. CTPs on the BLUES only, playing the Whites first. CTPS are 4, 5, and 6. Those who play will be Champions. There, the dramatic opening is out of the way.

Now the rest of the stuff.
July is National Hot Dog Month. The Mystery CTP, first and second place, is Hot Dog related. Oh, and everybody is getting a bag of hot dog condiments.

National Day of the Cowboy is now history. Thanks to all who wore something close to a cowboy outfit. And a big thanks to those who brought sugar cookies, although they don't go as well with post round beers as I thought they would. But, I'm willing to give them another chance. And I do appreciate the discs donated for the Lost and Found Round. Keep 'em coming.

tonight, MBD in A2. As Eagle and Simon tried to show us on YouTube, all the holes can be an ace run. I hope we have better luck than they did.

Extra points for cowboy (not Dallas) gear. Extra points for sugar cookies ( I WILL need a snack).
Also, always collecting your lost and found discs for the final fundraising round of the season.
AND, it is Mid-Season Award Night. All who have played will receive an award. Please try to make it tonight. I'm not too keen on carrying around a bunch of hardware in my car. Thanks and see you all tonight at Mary. Beth. Doyle.
