10 Crawdads played the last Sunday tag round for 2019. Next Saturday, the 9th, we will have our 2019 Tag Finale. All 2019 Crawdad tag holders will paly two rounds for prizes. Prizes will be awarded according to your 2019 handicap based on all rounds played for the year. So, come play your personal best rounds and take home some goodies. Combined 2-round scores for the day will determine the order of final tags for the season. Thee will be a potluck lunch between rounds. Bring something to share. The grill will be hot and electricity available for crockpot, etc. It might be cold, so dress accordingly. See you Saturday. 8 -9 am set up & check in.

Sunday afternoon mob golf. A rainy day saw 5 Crawdads play at Creekside. Frieda DNF'd, taking the 32 tag. Then there were 4. Forecasted rain never showed up during the 2nd half.

Thursday night tags was a windy, gusty affair. Only 4 Crawdads dared to face the elements. Everyone played according to their pecking order with no tags exchanged.

Random Tag Round

14 Crawdads played Mob Golf in two groups of seven this afternoon. Partly sunny in low 70's. Ace pot is up to $130. Reminder that Creekside's Tag finale is on Saturday, November 9th. All Crawdads are invited to play two rounds for the best tag for the end of 2019 season. Prizes will be given to the top player scores calculated with your handicap for the year. So if you've been padding your rounds with high scores, like I have all season, come play your personal best and possibly take first place! The club will supply main course meats and condiments. Everyone else bring a side dish or a snack to share for lunch.

Warm weather brought 8 Crawdads out to play for tags. It wasn't pretty for some, but we had fun, anyway.

13 Crawdads and one guest played Sunday mob golf this afternoon at Creekside. Josh F shot a 69 as a guest. The weather was great for disc golf he highest tags available were the 3 & 4. Both found new homes.

Zach R decided to go against Christina's wishes, today, and play his #1 Crawdad tag. He lost it to a 3-way tie playoff for first place! Tom R came out on top taking that #1 Crawdad tag home with him. (Score adjusted to show his #1 status.)

Thursday tags had 8 Crawdads playing for the #1 tag. Frieda E and Zach R tied for 1st place throwing a pair of 55's. Zach took the #1 tag home with him. Congrats, Zach. Next Thursday tags start at 5:00 pm in an attempt to beat the darkness. Ace pot is $104.

Last day of summer round. Temperature still in the 80's. Tom Shank bought a Crawdad tag and immediately traded his 41 with Travis M's 11 tag. What a challenge for Ben to defend the 11 tag on his first round! Twelve Crawdads proceeded to play Sunday mob golf. Multiple discs landed in the water using several retrieval methods, including the old fashion walking into the water. Melilt earned first place with the most wet discs retrieved! Ben had the 11 tag for two hours. Matt L finally brought the 4 tag to defend. Someone else grabbed it. Thanks, Matt L. The ace pot is now at $147.00. If someone doesn't grab it this Thursday, I will roll back $50.00. Don't forget to put your dollar in the ace pot and a bag full of ace-run discs.

Returning after missing a couple weeks were Erin & PJ, both getting better tags than they came with. Dave T defended his #1 tag,

6 Crawdads an 1 guest played Sunday mob disc golf this afternoon. Ben Shank, originally from this area, just moved to Hbg and decided to use his Ultimate skills and try Disc Golf. He's playing very well after 3 weeks. Jonathan Gere came out of hiding and played. Welcome back Jonathan! We sprayed the bees nest at 17 basket again. They are now completely immuned to hornet spray and just laugh at us during our spray attack.

9 Crawdads played for tags Thursday evening. The weather was perfect for disc golfing. The last group came in late. So, most players left their tags with Matt. He will keep the safe until Sunday or whenever you se him next. Melilt was able to come out and play. She is improving her game each time she plays.

Many of us are calling it a practice round for this Saturday's Head for the Hills event at Carlisle Coyote Hills course.

Four players bought new tags - Paul (PJ) Shiflett, Erin Neal Greg Brandt, and Henry Wilkinson! Welcome to the group! Greg has joined twice this year. He lost his first tag. It was hot & humid in the 90's this afternoon.12 players played the 3 o'clock mob golf round, today.3 quests, Erin Neil, PJ, and Josh Young, shot a 84, 62, & 59, respectively. Thank you for visiting from MD, Erin & PJ! Melilt Subris became our newest Crawdad member, today, playing her 5th disc golf round, ever. Tyler H is going back to college for a new semester, so he traded for the highest tag after the round was over, stepping everyone up a tag. He actually threw a 52.

Twelve golfers, three groups of four, played under cloudy skies without rain, this evening. Cody Book became a Creekside Crawdad. Welcome onboard, Cody! Three guests played: Melilt 82, Jonathan 75, Chad 55. Tyler H "Mr. One Tag" was finally pulled off his throne. Dave T threw the hot round of 51, beating Tyler by 2 strokes.

Impromptu round

The weather was reaching 90's this afternoon. 14 disc golfers played MOB golf in one group, today. Usually, we play in groups no larger than 12 players, but we had guests, Hayden, from New Zealand and Mike Oregon visiting for a fun round after playing in AM Worlds at the York Co Courses.

This was a Thursday evening round played while AM Worlds was played in York Co courses. 2 Crawdads and 2 guests played. Guest Dillon shot a 58 and guest Chad shot a 56.

Wow! Tyler Hamilton was knocked from his #1 tag status big time! Three Crawdads beat him by a stroke in a 3-way tie. 1st place playoff was challenged and Dave T came out on top with the #1 tag. Nice shooting Crawdads.

Amidst the threat of rain, only four Crawdads showed for tag challenge. No rain fell during the match. Yeah! Tyler H threw a 41! Nice shooting.

10 Crawdads played Sunday's mob golf round. The weather was hot and very humid. Everyone survived the heat. The creek was muddy from last night's storms. No discs lost. Welcome back, Mr. Letterman. Pro player, Tyler Hamilton, holds onto the #1 tag.

Crawdad Cooker XII - 2nd Round

9 Crawdads played for tags on a very hot and humid evening. All baskets are now in long position, ready for the Crawdad Cooker coming up in a week and a day, Saturday, July 6th.

Great summer day for playing golf. 10 Crawdads played for tags, arranged in two groups of 5. Long layout was played with a couple exceptions, in preparation for the Crawdad Cooker coming in TWO WEEKS. Before tags Matt H, Frieda E, and OD Bob trimmed brush, weeds, low hanging limbs, and tangled vines on 14 & 15. We also put a rubber mat on 18 short tee. Everyone seems to like the feel of it compared to the sunken, broken concrete pad.Tyler H still remains on top with #1 tag!

A warm day for disc golf saw 10 players (7 Crawdads) at Creekside for the 3:00 round. Before start we placed long 18 basket into a new position. Thanks to Tyler H and Shaun M for digging the hole. Three guests were Shaun Manatt (he does exist), Joe (local player), and Levi (Maryland player). Matt H tied Tyler H for the #1 tag, but Tyler won the playoff and defended the #1, again! All the baskets are in long position except 16 in preparation for the Cooker first round in a couple weeks (July 6th).

Wet course conditions saw 5 Crawdads play for better tags, tonight. A lot of tag swapping action occurred except for Tyler H hanging on to the top #1 tag! Several players came to take him down with no success. Way to defend, Tyler!

12 Crawdads and 2 Guests played the weekly Sunday mob-golf tag round. Welcome back Greg Brandt to the 2019 Crawdads! Weather was great for golfing and the creek was clear for finding submerged discs. No one was able to snatch the #1 tag from Tyler H again, today. How long can he stay on top? Thanks go to Dan C and Lauren for playing with us, today. Come on, Dan C., buy a tag, already.

Tyler H was on a birdie frenzy tying his personal best at 42. A quick rain shower at the start turned into sunshine for the round.

Potential stormy weather kept Crawdads away except 2 brave players.

8 players tossed a round in the warm weather this afternoon. We finished before any major rain came through. Tyler Hamilton, fresh home from college, took the #1 tag already! Tom Renner brought & installed a new Lost & Found box for the course.

It was a great evening to play disc golf! Sunny and in the 70's. 11 players started and 10 finished, including guest, Josh Alcock, shooting a 54. Zach Rowe having to leave early DNF'd. Highlight of the night was nelson Baitzrl throwing an ace on hole #18, winning a $109.00 acepot! Congratulations, Nelson, also throwing PB of 52!

Very rainy day for tags. Five players finished the round. It was a farewell round for Derrick Root, He's relocating his job out of state for at least 6 months. Good luck on your new venture, Derrick.

Tom keeps winning the #1 Llama tag at Pinchot, but, evidently, Creekside is more of a challenge. Dave T threw a 56, but forgot his tag?

9 Crawdads played in clear, calm, 57 degree weather. No one was happy with their scores except Jonathan, taking the #1 tag home. But it was a nice day.

Nice afternoon and we welcome Earl to the 2019 tags. He was throwing darts on the front 9 with 6 birdies! He declined challenging Derek to a playoff for the #1 Tag.
