Welcome to the Sunday Gawful League. This is a sanctioned PDGA League. All players will attend our regular Sunday morning round, and keep official scoring of each round played. These scores will be submitted to the PDGA to be rated and displayed on pdga.com. Ten events over ten consecutive Sundays, and culminating in the championship round where the overall League Champion will receive a distinctive (likely homemade) trophy.
$2 will be collected from each player (Player Dues) prior to the start of each round. A weekly $2 Cash CTP will be collected at each player's option. $1 from each Player Dues will be added to the $2 optional CTP. All CTP funds will be paid out immediately following each round. $1 of the player dues will be retained by the TD to cover PDGA expenses ($25 sanctioning fee and $0.50/player round). No money will be rolled over or held for any reason except to reimburse the TD for PDGA expenses. Any excess Player Dues, after PDGA fees, will be added to the CTP funds for that week, and paid out.
Trophies will be designed and built by league volunteers. Donations for the cost of trophy materials may be collected at the discretion of the group.
An awards ceremony and gathering will be held following the Championship Round. Location TBD.
