2015 Carlisle Coyote Tag League

Shorts, No Ropes. Last Monday Tags of the Season. Jamie L. shot a PB of 54. Our Tag Finale is this Saturday, November 7th. Registration is 8-9am. We cannot wait to see the results of this years Tag Season. We have had some new members who have been working hard at taming the Coyote. Let's see how they fair against some of our seasoned veterans at this final showdown.

We played longs including 3,4, and 5. Long 2 was not kind to Josh.

Shorts w/ ropes.

Longs with ropes, including proposed long #3. Kevin played as a guest shooting a 77.

Shorts w/ Ropes. Scott Elliot decided he wanted to play in the Finale and finally bought a tag. Welcome Scott! $4 added to the Ace Pot.

Shorts no ropes. Matt K. shot a PB of 57. Billy C. matched that 57 to defend #1. $3 added to the Ace Pot.

Shorts w/ ropes. Guest Ken Perkins shot a 63.

Jason Sullivan also played but without a tag and shot a PB of 62!!!! Josh Myers forgot his tag again and shot a low round of 64.

5 coyotes and one guest played tags today. The rain held off until the back nine. It affected some of the play from all the players, but Travis held it together and came away with the low score. Dillon almost won, but the back nine wasn't kind to him. I should've stayed in bed.

Labor day w/ ropes

w/ ropes. Josh Myers played as a guest. He forgotten his tag and shot 63. Scott Elliot played as a guest as well and shot a 74.

w/ ropes. Special Guest Bill Ledgett shot 76.

7 Coyotes and 1 guest showed up for Saturday tags. Jamie " The Frenchman" Lepley shot the hot round of 62. Shorts were played with ropes.

We had 7 Coyotes brave the threatening skies which never did rain, play reg tees. We also had three visitors play also. There were some low rounds scored by Chris and Travis but the real story was Dan Rad's ace on #8. Travis who was in another group was looking down when he heard the chains, he looked up thinking he was going to congratulate someone on a great putt but no one was around. Then he heard the yelling and he realized someone just aced #8. Josh Myers also had a PB of 66.

Guest Scott Elliot shot a 78

There were 7 Coyotes who braved the heat to play tags on Monday evening. Number 18 took it's toll on three players but Mr Chas Ford outlasted Billy C. and took the number 1 tag. He last held the #1 tag back in April 8th 2013. Way to go Chas!!!

15 Coyotes showed up Monday to duke it out in the hills. Ropes were in play. Billy C. shot a hot round of 53, to jump from the #41 tag to the #1 tag, for our biggest tag jump of the season. "Beat that" Congratulations Billy! The "Freight Train" also made a special appearance.

17 Coyotes showed up for Monday Night Tags, which makes our largest turnout of the season. We would like to welcome Tyler Hamilton back to the league. We played with ropes O.B. as it was an odd day. Chris Lard and Justin Weaver both shot 55 forcing the playoff. Justin Weaver shut down Chris Lard to take the #1 tag. Congratulations Justin! $10 was added to the Ace Pot, bringing it to $58. We had our first "Coyote Skat" random tag drawings after the round. Thank you to our generous club members for your donations to make this happen. We had 6 big winners who got to take home some new plastic and some seasonal beverages. A lot of fun in the hills.

No Ropes, Dan Rad shot a PB. Bill Sr. nailed a 120' birdie on 6. Chris Lard shot the hot round of 54!

We would like to welcome 2 Newcomer's to the league. Quint Newcomer and Nick Newcomer. We are glad to have you in the league. 5 Coyote's showed up to battle it out in the hills. Congratulations Dillon Morret on your hot round of 64. Dillon jumps from the #29 tag to the #12 tag. $3 was added to the ace pot, bringing it to $52. Also a big congratulations and happy fathers day to Travis Morret with his brand new baby girl!

With Ropes, Long Layout. 12 Coyotes showed up for a long hot round in the hills. Billy C. shot the best round with a 62 to take the #1 tag. Congratulations! Chas had the biggest tag jump from 33 to 13.

With ropes, all long including new long 15 and new long 17. Chris Lard defends his #1 tag with a 57. Nice shooting Chris! Josh played as a guest shooting a 77.

We had 8 Coyotes show up in between the thunderstorms to play tags with ropes as out of bounds since it was an odd day. Nothing happened too momentous other than a certain player doing the unthinkable for a disc golfer. Since it was the first Monday of the month it was also a handicap round. This particular golfer . . . his round. For those who can't figure it out here is a hint ( The Legend of . . . . . Vance). I guess for accuracy we should say allegedly since we all have our off days. Only two players participated in the handicap round, Steve and Chas, but I'm still not naming names.

6 Players showed up to take on the hills Saturday morning. $5.00 was added to the Ace Pot, which brings it to $33. Floyd aced hole #7 and gets to take home the pot. Congratulations Floyd! The club is starting the new Ace Pot at $25.00 and will now pay out 100% of the money collected for the Ace Pot. We will hold $25 once we hit $100 for a reserve Ace Pot, dropping the current pot to $75. We will continue to do this after every $50 collected for the current pot.

The course is blooming and looking pristine as usual. We had 16 tag members and 2 guests show up tonight for Monday Night Tags. Today was an odd day, so we played with ropes (ropes O.B.) short layout. Chris Lard had the hot round of 56 (with a 6 on 2 and a disc stuck 50 ft. up in a pine tree) Nice recovery Chris! We will be hosting the "Coyote Howler" this Saturday so next tag round will be next Monday. It will be an optional handicap round as well, being the first Monday of the month. See everyone this Saturday!
