Today I went to tuttle and the enterances were blocked with sign that stated, park is closed due to no appropriations. No trespassing". Doubles will need to be moved for 10/1/13

Revenge of Hole 15... so this Tuesday I aced #15 at league. This morning I played a Tuttle round in heavy wind. On #15, my drive went OB. I was putting into the wind for my circle three. My disc topped the basket, and sailed 30 feet. Missed my comeback putt. Took a circle 5!

Just a reminder today AUGUST 19th we are going to be having a swap meet (disc trading ) at 5 30 then we are going to flip for teams and play doubles for disc so bring a disc to put in the pile to choose from and bring discs to trade for

Had a lot of fun tonight at doubles for discs...
Alan Fox and Michael King took 5th with -1
Ross Jones and John Heley took 4th with -4
Scott Collins and Billy Mitchell took 3rd with -5
Mitch Brenn and Grant Wisdom took 2nd with -11
And 1st place goes to Jake Strait and Mark Kewley shooting -12

Once again, Doubles League will be at Fairmont--July 2. We will play the entire new 18 holes in order, including 2 and 6. We will need 10 portable baskets--I have 4. Also, some help retrieving baskets after league would be much appreciated!

i got mine, i will put it on 3. would like to see a new tee location on 15 (original 7) about 50 ft to the left of its current location. kewley and rick know what im talking about

Clouse, Sorry we didn't get that Tee 7 tested tonight. We ran out of time while setting up everything else. Hopefully we can get that marked & ready prior to tee time next week.

Good turnout tonight. It was fun to play the course again. Nice shooting everyone.
Here's an idea that would allow us to play the course with the flow as it will be built. Play all the holes in order, however just make #2 & #6 really short like 75' - 100' (but not Ace $ eligible). That way nobody will blast into un-cut poison ivy/oak stuff...
Plus we could still have the infamous parking lot shot... as a 19th hole (if still necessary).

I think Kirk is referring to fairway #5, in the tree line parallel to the abandoned asphalt road, before getting to the basket... he encountered some there.

I will be donating $9 of my winnings from this week to push our 3 Disc Fundraiser Tourney & Glow League funds to the even $500 needed to have DFOK as a full fairway sponsor. (Those two events earned us $491 for Fairmont)
