Its all good man. I didnt take it personal. I mean most people know we are merging, but we just havnt really announced it. Before we really let it all out we wanted to make sure we had all the details worked out. Adam, Andy, and I all met this week for about 4 hours and will be meeting again this coming week. Cameron, the details are still in the works. Technically, there has not been any big announcment just yet because we are still working the details such as the finanicals into the big picture. I have been working on things but until I can get to sit down and go over things with Adam there is no final decision. We will be discussing all of these issues in detail. Thanks for the concern, but we are working on all those. haha. We will def still be doing a big final. And we are in discussion with DD to make the sponsorship bigger and better. So bare with us, big things are in the works. If you have any question just give me a call. We are kinda trying to keep things on the down low until we have all the details worked out. Ok guys, this Saturday Sanders Ferry at 5! I pushed it back just a little bit because its supposed to be so hot. Playing later will let the temp drop just a little bit to where it wont be bad and that way more people can make it on this short notice. Please spread the word. I get off work at 4 so will rush as fast as i can to the course. Meet at hole one and around the practice basket. See you guys then!

I'm excited about the new Music City Disc Golf Club and its accompanying bag tag challenge. I also think the plan of merging Drake's with the MCDGC is the right thing to do. However, to have paid for a full years membership in Drake's and then have it cease to exist after 7 months . . . and then have to again pay another full $20 to join MCDGC leaves somewhat of a bad taste in my mouth.
Dynamic Discs had sponsored the full year. We've also had Adam tell us some time ago that all costs were covered, and all new membership funds from that point forward would go straight into the year-end pot. What happens to these funds? Twenty dollars for a year works out to $1.66 per month, or $8.33 for the lost five months. Rounding this down to $8 is fine.
I feel if the merge occurs, all remaining Drake's funds should be turned over to the MCDGC, and any current memebr of Drake's should need to pay only $12 to join MCDGC.
But perhaps I'm just being petty. Thoughts?

Hey guys! I know Adam and I have been kinda absent this month with a lot going on. I finally updated the tags on here. If your tag is incorrect please let me know what number you have so I can fix it. Also, the next bag tag is going to be June 30th! Sorry for short notice but this is the only thing I could get. Adam and I will both be working and we are having someone fill in for us. The event will be at Sanders Ferry! Will post the time for sure tomorrow gotta get the final word.

With the next date set at Cedars (a state park), I'm looking to see who all would be interested in going out there on Saturday morning (May19) and then camping that night. Basically have all day Saturday to play the course, swim, hike, bike, or whatever. Then do it all again on Sunday leading up to the challange. If you've never been to Cedars, they have a large pool for swimming, some hiking trails, areas to bike and some sort of cave to check out. and the course! play it as many times as you like to get ready for the challange.

So I have a long weekend coming up and have been given permission to play golf out of state (even over night) I am planing on going to play the Lexington Open on April 28 &29. I was wondering if anyone would like to go up with me a split a hotel room Friday and Saturday Nights. Looks like it is good courses and should be a fun weekend of golf. let me know what you think?

Ok, been awhile since we had some chatter on here. First off I want to thank everyone from Nashville for representing at the past couple tournys (Bowling Green AM's and Cross Town). The bag tag is having some strong showings at these events. Who is going to be at 2 rivers in a couple weeks? I dont think I can make it Sunday, but I am def willing to meet up with anyone who wants to practice there and play. I am off Saturday the day before and would gladly show someone how to play that course and take a gold tag away from them. Any takers?
