Format Explanations
Divisional Singles Week - Regular league format.
1 Disc Week - You can only throw one disc with you on this night. If you lose it, you will given last place for the night.
Stableford - This format rewards aggressiveness. Aces = 9 points, Birdies = 5 points, Pars = 2 points, Bogeys = 0 point, and Double Bogeys or worse = -1. Points and payout will be determined by the points you earn.
CTP Week - Points are based on your score but payout is based completely around who was the closest to the pin on each hole.
OB Night – On or over pavement (left side and right side) on Hole #2, On or over pavement (right side only) on Hole #3, Tall grass to the left on hole #11,12, 13, and 14, on or over pavement (left side) on #16, 17, and 18 is all OB. Add 1 throw penalty and throw from where you were last in bounds.
Alternate Tees Week - This week is scheduled because I need to setup the alternate tees before league. I will mark the tees before league (if not earlier if my schedule allows for it). This format may get shifted to a later week if weather or ground conditions are bad and we will proceed to the next scheduled event and try again the following week.
Putters Only Week - You can carry as many putters as you want as long as they fall on the approved putters list.
Mandatory Night –Every hole will have some unique rule. You may have to throw forehand, backhand, opposite handed, with a mid-range, with a 10 speed or higher, or the ever popular “eyes closed” drive. This format will challenge you to learn new throws, trust your muscle memory, and may be a touch frustrating so you have to test your mental stamina.
Skins Game Week - Points are based on your overall score but payout is based completely on your score compared to your card-mates. If you have the single lowest score on any hole you win a skin and a portion of the funds. Holes that have no individual low score carryover to the next hole (AKA 2 tie all tie). If after 18 holes there are still skins available the group must continue to play until the skin(s) have been decided. On any playoff holes only those who end up with the lowest score on each hole proceed to the next hole. So If 4 people go to Hole #19 because of a tie on #18 and two people get 2's while 2 people get 3's . . . only those who got the 2's proceed to Hole #20 until the skin is settled.
Double Points Singles - Same as week one but points are doubled to see who can rise to the occasion at the end of the season when the pressure is on.
