Short pads are mostly clear.. might need a salting as people play an track snow on the pads... Good path ways carved out down the fair ways, around most baskets packed down so not to hard to find up shots or park jobs.

So does the snow make it to where you can't play anymore? Just asking this is my first winter actually playing through the season and I'm wondering how the snow effects things...

I mean this much snow will tire you out, but it is far from impossible. Willows trees do some help in keeping patches here and there with lower levels of snow than areas around the trees. Bring a small shovel for the pads (I have yet to go out this year, so they may be done but...). I am not a big snow player, my game suffers from lack of grip! lol But have fun and snap some pics brother!

Pars are irrelevant, score is a total number

Steve Nolff    November 12, 2012 at 8:16am

William, my experience is that playing all hole par three, all the time, works best. Cuts down on confusion when scorecard not in hand, no drunken arguements at the pin about par. I mean really, it is all relative. I would think the par on Willow would be long tee, but if you are playing shorts, it is likely that par might apply to you as well. The reasoning behind DGS using all par three is similiar. It takes out one variable. When designing or signing a course, the opinion of what constitutes a par three, four... varies greatly.

I see that the holes at Willow are Par 3's 4's and 5's. Do those apply to the long and short tees? Are all the short tees only Par 3's? Why does DiscGolfScene seem to recognize all the holes as Par 3's when entering my scores? Thanks.

@Jamie, I thought every one who threw at that clinic was Team Discraft. That is what Mark told me. My bad.

I love that place and it is very nice this time of year. You can see new lines and the course is a bit easier than deep summer. Ben at the ThrowShop is the best close spot, just off 94. There are a few other places but nowhere very close.

If you are interested we will be there tomorrow afternoon as long as the rain is not heavy.
