Both, along with several towering old-growth trees, are being removed to make way for a 5-acre, $6 million aquatic center scheduled to be opened in July of 2021. Hefko Pool was built in 1934, the adjacent bathhouse was added in 1974, and the disc golf course was installed in 1991 (which was only the 7th course in Wisconsin at the time).
