Finally managed to get a round in with some friends Saturday afternoon, and while the course did kick our butts, I love the course layout! Finally managed to get a round in with some friends Saturday afternoon, and while the course did kick our butts, I love the course layout! We play Woodmansee a lot, and this is like a longer version of Woodmansee, with 18 original instead of a repeated 9.

Lots of variation, from short, heavily wooded shots to long, open-air bomb ranges. Every shot in your arsenal comes into play at some point. Didn't see too much garbage around the course, and only got a few mosquito bites between the four of us. No poison oak, either. Seems to be manicured well enough for my skill-level (mediocre amateur at best).

We did have trouble accepting the fact that the mando on #16 was the furthest tree straight out from the tee (a "Mando" sign by the tree would clear that up). The signage at the tee box looks like it's a 90-degree left around the tree to the basket, but it's more like a 115% turn, if that is the right tree.

Once better signage is in place between holes, this will be an A+ course in my book. Until then, print a map (http://www.discgolfscene.com/coursepictures/61305_l.jpg), and you'll have no trouble navigating the course.

I feel like this could be a sweet course someday. good teepads is always a plus in my book. really grippy and nice. not sure if im a fan of the footfault zone since I always like to throw off the front part so it messed with my head. I don't doubt that within a year or two this could be a pretty legit course.

Now the Salem area has that course that requires all the shots and skills in your bag. Its in its infancy and needs to be beat in. Wide fairways with some pretty nasty rough. Like most courses down South, you will find poison oak. There are mosquitos. YOU LIVE IN OREGON!! Learn to recognize poison oak and avoid it. Bug spray people..bug spray for pesty mosquitos. ** I would like to note that people havent even played the course and are bitching and whining about rough fairways, bugs and poison oak. Like I said to Mike Wilson, "The people who bitch the loudest, have done nothing to improve or help to build this course." Get your complaining butts out to a few work crews and put in the right to bitch. Just my opinion.**

always clearly shows when a DG course is made by DG'ers! this course is awesome with lots of room for improvements. meaning sooooo much area to work with for alt T`pads or pin locations, fairways more defined, couple holes are impossible to see the basket let alone run at it and of course the blackberry and poisin oak are thick as hell. although the course area is amazing with horse trails circling the course, cherrie trees, and filbert trees all through the course. the layout does give most holes backhand OR forehand routes toward the baskets, with a good mix of holes being runnable and couple holes just placement shot +placement shot +putt. I believe this course will be done wonders by foot traffic. you can never have enough trash cans mainly on the deeper part of the course.every course should have running spickets for water like here! huge props to STEVE MOORE, MIKE WILSON, ROGER STEPHENS, OF COURSE BRUSTER<I know your handy work when I see it> and the handful of others that made this course happen. ill be making the trip to play here a lot and happly spend the $5. its worth it.

The blanket of mosquitos is gone thankfully. Bring your A game if you wanna dominate this tough course. There is drinking water throughout the course and working bathrooms off hole 9
