Tough course. Lots of trees and narrow fairways. Hard to open it up. Not quite broken in yet. Challenging but fun.

C would be conservative, but don't miss going to the grounds..... The scenic atmosphere was absolutely outstanding, the park grounds were clean and worth checking out on the way to TC. With regards to the course, not worth the trip......Tags on the course helped but didn't make it any easier to see the baskets yet alone the teepads, I really liked many of the holes, but the course is obviously still new! The course may grown in on its own, but unlikely. The long pads are the only worth while ...

The distances are fine, but the overall quality of the layout is lacking - too many baskets are visible from one tee. The "fairways" are not maintained. The layout does not take full advantage of the beauty of the park. With a bit of rerouting and maintenance, I would raise this course's rating to an A very quickly.

Front nine is a bit easy. Flat, with pins tucked away into the many trees. The second half plays much longer and more challenging. The location of this course is what make it great. The leaves were changing, the views of the colors over the Manistee River valley were stunning. The walk down to the river is a must, we got to watch a couple boats of anglers, simply slaying monster salmon. Well worth the trip, even if there might be better courses in this area. Needs some attention to the litter, though I am not convinced this is all disc golfers.

Very wooded with narrow fair ways. Long pin shots if you stay on the fair way but you can't thrown ore then 20 feet if you come off the fairway. I think there might have been 2 holes I didn't hit atleast 3 trees on

Driving eastbound on M-55 I noticed the disc golf basket sign and went to investigate. It was a ways in... I was there alone facing a sign which said no fees, no services. 52 degrees on a late November day. I was very impressed with how easy it was for me to find all the tee pads and baskets. Heavily wooded, yes. From the shorts it is excellent for using the slower and /or lighter discs I use.

Shorts reasonable and challenging, longs lines too narrow and too many trees.

Only played this course once, from the shorts. It COULD be a nice course, but it gets no love from the looks of it. A little upkeep and clearing of some trees and I'd definitely rate it higher. It's a shame that it's one of the closer courses to The Stee...

Was renting a cabin on Harper Lake and this was the closest course. Had fun playing, but don't go too far out of your way to play this one. Baskets are nice, and there were a few fun holes, but overall the course is really flat, and often it's an absolute wall of trees you're throwing though. Bring a swimsuit, there is a sweet swimming spot on the manistee river about 300ft drop down from the disc course, which I managed to wing a disc down off a wicked tree bounce. I did manage to find the disc, but it was a lot of stairs, lmao.

Beautiful wooded course. Basically flat, has long and short pads on every hole ,Play the shorts. And play early in year before ferns hide your off fairway disc , which is where you’ll be. Some of the holes are unrealistic. Definitely need some tree trimming. Has great baskets, wonderful views of river bend. There are seasonal bathrooms, and a pavilion . There’s a 5$ to park charge.
