Mike - Haven't played the course in a while, been busy with end of school year, tournaments, and life in general. If I can get the course mowed a bit tomorrow we may be playing there for league at @ 2:00 on Sunday. If that's the case I'll post it here and be sure to get you the directions!

Hi, I'm the "Coda Master" (my dog's name is Coda). I put this course in at in-law's property and we use it as one of the courses for our rotating singles league on Sundays at 2:00. Tomorrow we're scheduled for Deerfield Park. The Switchback is not a public course but anyone is welcome to come to league days there. I usually start a group on the Scene homepage to tell everyone where singles will be, if you're interested in coming the next time we're there (possibly next week) let me know and I'll get you the directions. -- Josh Taylor

Who is that and how would I get a hold of them? I'm from Ithaca and another course in the area is sweet. Do you have to become a member to play this course?

Must be accompanied by the "Coda Master"

Great idea Josh and it really beats sitting around and talking to the inlaws :)

If I can talk my dad into putting in a similar course on his property I'd love to get some you guys to come out and help me set the pin/tee locations.

We're pretty sure hole 1 is real close to 275'. Once I get the holes measured I will include that info. with the pics.

The pictures came out great and it looks like a fun course to play. Also do you know roughtly how long some of those holes are?

Sounds really cool and my Dad and I were thinking about doing something similar on his moderatly wooded property in Beal City. Probably end up being a couple homemade baskets with multiple tee locations for each.

This is a course I put in at my in-law's property close to Winn (it's actually only a few miles from Deerfield). It has nine "homemade" baskets, each with two completely different tees. You play the loop one way, then more or less the other way for 18 holes (hence the name). I'm still figuring out if I want to use it for a league (doubles, singles, tags...) or not.
Pictures and more info. to come soon!!!
