Jeez. Seems like that area could use with a dealer like CJ's or The Throw Shop. I like browsing thousands of discs looking for ones I've never thrown and all that. Anyway, thanks for the tips Steve/Nick!

There is a few places around there for Discraft. 7-11 on 26 mile rd. just east of stoney. 7-star party store just south of Stoney on Shelby rd. Party store on Auburn/Ryan (southeast corner) has disc (not sure which brands).

Course is in great shape Adam. With the redesign and addition of 9 new holes, Stony is truly one of the premier courses in the area. I don't actually know of any nearby stores to pick up discs. Any place you find should carry plenty of Discraft at the very least. Have a great round. Don't miss the long basket on the first hole, there is a short to the left, just keep going, then into the tunnel. Makes for a couple of the hardest first holes anywhere.

i put a purple gold line bolt into the bushes and trees on hole 8 (old 6) about 2 days ago. it's in the 2nd fairway, the bushes on the right side. could be anywhere from right at the peninsula of bushes, to halfway to the basket, anywhere in the those trees. name and number, along with dye of pdga and signature all on the disc. would like it back definite reward for return

let a casual (good dude, even threw me cash to replace it) borrow a white halo on 17. lost to the left, where it opens some before the little hill. name and number, and dyed signature with pdga is all on it. I'll prolly be out within the next couple days tom look for it, but in case someone comes across it first. I'll toss you the replacement cash.

Found 2 discs on new hole 26, and Redmond found one hole 26 and one hole 27. If you describe them to either of us, you'll get them back.

Crap, lost two (yes two) elite x, xs on the left of long hole two (or right side of hole one). Back to back throws. One yellow and one red. Both have my angry man symbol on the back. >:O. Love to get them back.
it's a big undertaking to set up a shot like that, the overhead is quite large. and we have "private" retailers like John Minicucci, Marty Borucki, and Scott "Bernie" Burnham. Also, in Waterford, which is a lil out of the way, there is Up In The Air. so, you have to think, placing a disc golf throw shop in the heart of an area that is home to OU, Stony, Riverbends, Firefighters and Brys would be a great idea...but at what cost to the other distributors that we have?
depending on where you're coming from, there's also Inflight, in Ferndale, 9 mile and Pinecrest I believe.
