Played the course at the am worlds volunteers party last year...pretty much was told as long as respecting property and throwing $ in donation box we were welcome back. With the layout the way it is we trying to get an ok just to be sure. Anyone know how we might go about this?
That is correct Russ. Jon is there most of the time and as long as the gate is open your welcome to come in. I'm the league V.P. and as long as you are cool there Jon will have no problem. His phone # is6168278816 if you want to make sure he will be around.

Hey was going to be in the area(comming from Detroit area) and was wondering if me and a friend would be able to come play a round or two on Saturday. Played both courses before am worlds and loved them both. Of course we will both leave our donations to be able to play such amazing courses :) thanks in advance for any info.

Thx for the invite Niel.
Might try and make it tomorrow morning. I totally agree with the donation box man. Myself and a few buddies put in the FATS Nesting (LDGC) and it's not cheap maintaining a course.... thx again! !

Hello hello.
Just checking in to see if myself and a guest or two could come over and play a couple rounds. Not sure when but soon I hope :)
I've played there back in 2008 and I'm eager to play it again! !
Hey Scott, shouldnt be a problem. Ever since worlds its been more accepted to just show up. Jon the owner is usually home and we as a club would appreciate if you utilized our donations box inside the pavillion also;)

We want to let all the volunteers from Am Worlds know that we are having a party for you on September 19th at Spinski's. It will be an all day kinda thing starting at 10am and going all night with some glow golf. Camping will be possible. We will also be providing dinner and some beverage. Please pass the word and also let us know if you are coming, so we have some kind of idea how many there will be. Thanks again to all of you!!!
me too Doug.... I think our Vice President will tend to our keg after we leave. Thank you for the notification Larry.

The parking lot for the world's is identified with Spinski's Parking and a PDGA banner.

FYI for ALL Spinski's attendees: The Lost Disc box has been generously added to from players all around the world. We are trying hard to ensure you get your plastic back. PLEASE ensure you check throughout the PDGA 2015 AM World's week for your lost disc. I will try to repost what is remaining within the next couple weeks.

Hoping to head up tomorrow morning (Friday 7/10) to practice for Worlds. Are the courses open for play? I remember reading somewhere that it is open for practice, but now I cannot find that post. I just want to make sure we have permission to be there! Thanks for all you do!!
It has been open virtually all the time lately. Fridays worked well for me and some others. Cross your fingers, so you find someone who knows the course. Remember to make the 5$ donation (in box under pavillion) and enjoy?
Douglas "Fresh" Watson July 6, 2015 at 4:56am

Shane Brayton June 22, 2015 at 6:35pm
Can anyone let me know if the course will be open for practice rounds this Friday 6/26? If it is open do I need to contact anyone beforehand or just leave my $$ in the donation box? I am hoping to get there around 9:00 AM. It will be my first time here so any info is greatly appreciated.
Course will be open then Shane, Just come on in. Drive all the way to the back down the driveway past the hous to the pavillion. That is where the donations box is. Pro course hole 1 tee-pad is in the woods heading slightly northeast from the front of the pavillion and the original course hole 1 tee -pad is in a slight northwest(left) direction from the front of the pavillion at the top of the hil

Looking to get some practice in for Worlds on Saturday morning. Will I have any problems teeing off at 9am? It's a haul from South Bend so I just want to make sure my bases are covered. Thanks!
Never, i do have a friend from Grand Rapids area that has lined up a local to walk the course with us though.
Oh ok, then you should be fine. They are very easy to negotiate anyways. Just knowing where hole 1 tee-pad is for the pro course is really the only hurdle
If your at the front of the pavillion its on a slight right angle into the woods. you cross hole 1's fairway as you are getting into the opening where the pavillion is

Some friends from SE Mi and I were planning on playing the original course on Friday morning. We appreciate the full opening for AM Worlds practice, and thought that some heads-up would be appropriate.
Fred Vocino June 16, 2015 at 4:17am
I am ready to upload a load of pics for the TWO COURSES ( ORIGINAL-18, AND CHAMPION 18). If updating the info page to reflect those two courses for the AM Worlds is not within the technical capacity of present administrators I would be glad to have temporary admin-access, or I will load them into the present page and leave the sorting out for others.
Please contact Niel Stoppa if he hasn't responded to you as of yet. He will be able to help you with the brief yet exhausting efforts of last week Thursday. Thank you for walking with us.
Niel was helpful and Pete Crist made the course name approval easy. Now to finish the photo uploads.

I lost a purple mvp and a yellow acerace disk on the pro course thursday. on a side noteTo what randy said be respectful to the course a lot of people work hard to make it nice. I enjoy going somewhere to play and playing with some of the best in the state. The upgrades to the course are awesome. I have lots of room for improvement.
Randy "Shide-Arm" Shideler June 13, 2015 at 6:24am
FYI for those of you who are not "regulars" to Spinski's. It is a private course, meaning the upkeep of the course costs money that does not come out of tax payers pockets. When you play, you pay.
Also, when you find a disc, there is a locked box that sits in the shelter with a slot to put found discs so they can be returned to their rightful owners. The long standing rule of the course is that when you find a disc you put it in the box. Those found to have stolen a disc are banned from playing the course.
Not 100% sure but last I heard. Place was being closed down. Sadly. Hope I'm wrong But that came from someone that played it a week before it was to be closed
The property has been sold. The baskets have been removed.
