Just to let everyone know on Sunday September 15th and Thursday the 19th (9/15/13 & 9/19/13) the Murder Mitten DGC will be hosting a volunteer clean up day on the course. On Sunday the 15th we will be going through the course clearing out brush and chopping down branches. All the branches and brush that is cut down will be piled up in various corners of the course and that Thursday the 19th a group of WAMMers will be out there cleaning up our mess (hehehe). We will need more people on Sunday ... more

If you choose to come out Sunday you may want to bring some yard tools, mainly a weed whipper (bring your own string and gas) and some branch loppers. After the work is done we will supply food and beverage for all who show up. Please message me if you want to volunteer or for more info. You will make a difference, thank you in advance.

Monday evening, Miles Lawrence and myself volunteered our time and cleaned up the course by trimming bushes and trees for the upcoming Hucking Harvest Tournament. It was a good start but there is still a lot of work to be done to get the park in even better shape. We will be organizing a volunteer day before leagues one of the Sundays in September. The Murder Mitten will be providing lunch for those who volunteer their time...More info to come.

*Now at Seymour Lake every basket has 24 chains curtsy of the Murder Mitten DGC*. Me and Josh Drouillard just finished installing 6 extra chains on every hole payed for by all our fundraising events at the course. The park is working with us to help make constant improvements which is great. Things may be slow going but thats what happens when you have to deal with a township council. Keep coming out to enjoy this beautiful course.

The singles round tees off at 10am and the doubles at 3pm. $2 ace pool - $2 50/50 raffle tickets - $2 CTP for one round or $3 CTP for both rounds - $3 Mulligans (limit 3). Prizes will be awarded for the top spots in all divisions for both rounds!

ATTENTION DISC GOLFERS!! Don't forget about this Saturday at Oakland University. This is the first Murder Mitten DGC event at Grizzly Oaks! This will be played as Two (2) rounds of 18 holes for only $10. Tee Off is at 1pm with registration at 12noon. There will also be a $2 Ace Pool, $2 CTP, $2 50/50 Raffle. 80% Cash Payouts (20% to fund the club expenses) to Top Spots!! Two tiers of competiton with a Pro and an Am division.
