I have found discs in there that I have "got wet". It is only knee deep, you should be able to poke around with a stick and find your disc.

Mike Dodd   April 5, 2015 at 11:42am

Yeah I didn't feel like going in because it was like 25 mph winds and didn't have a towel or change of clothes. it's about 20 ft from the edge under the mud so I would of had to search for longer than I was willing to. I'm going to look for it sometime in the next week or so.

Miles Lawrence    April 2, 2015 at 7:17am

To all the fellow discers that play this course. I can not tell you to stop enjoying a cold beer on the course but please stop bringing glass bottles onto the course. If it is absolutely necessary to drink from a glass bottle, please take it off the course with you. People are pulling empty glass bottles from the trash cans and breaking them on the tee pads. I was out there today and had to clean up glass 4 different times. Myself and Murder Mitten DGC thank you for helping up make Seymour Lake a better course.

Because they must trash the course because they like the sport so much. It is their way of sthowing how much they appreciate the opportunity to get out of the house. Every time this year, it never fails, people are happy to get out of the house and onto the courses. Destruction is their only avenue of expression!

I'm out in Rochester working, should be done by noon. Stony, RB?

Douglas "Fresh" Watson   September 20, 2014 at 10:47am

I'd join if you were gonna play Stony. I heard RB was under water still?

Ben Jackson    September 19, 2014 at 4:38am

Yup this was the last league. 12 people made it out. Nice win Keith and Conrad shooting -11 or 43 for $100. Close second for John Hamel and Greg Hart at -10 (44) for $65. Third place was Colin Cox and John Schultz with a -9 (45) for $32. Thanks for coming out this year and making it a fun league. I will not be able to run it next year but I welcome anyone to take over.
Someone left a teerex in my trunk as I was doing payouts, let me know if it was you.

This week's Thursday, September 18th will be the last day of leagues. Still $5 buy in and $1 ace pool. IF there are no aces this Thursday then the $125+ ace pool will be added to the payouts of that day. To qualify for this additional payout you must have paid into the ace pool at least twice (day of counts as once). Sign in will close at 6pm and I'm expecting a 2 hour round. Bring a (day)glow disc or two if you tend to play slow. It looks like the weather will be clear and dry for us as the FOREcast calls for partly cloudy and 65F.

May the Chains be with You!

This Saturday (Sept 13) Black Ace Disc Golf's Memoriam Tournament at Holly Woods. It is the final PDGA Sanctioned event at Holly Woods this season.

We will be playing the popular Jumbo 18 layout. It skips some of the easy deuce holes and adds in the extra 6 holes which leads to better round ratings.
