If you have realistic expectations, this is an absolute gem. How many other courses exist with 27 holes IN A MAJOR US CITY?! So cool, so much history. Not very hard unless you’re unfamiliar with woods golf, but it’s not even close to boring either.

Holds a special place in my disc golf heart. Second oldest course in the USA. Lots of fun. Very short course but will need every shot and angle to master. Can get super busy but the course and local club are awesome. Definitely a must hit at some point

For something so close to a big city it is amazing. Very technical course especially holes 1-18. 19-27 offer a bit more range and a cool view also. Nice course for more experienced players to work on touch midrange shots and short enough for beginners to have fun. Also cool that there are three different tee locations for each pin because it gives a different look for each hole. Overall a good course especially for one so close to a major city.

My home course and where I learned to play Disc Golf. 1-18 is a very tight and technical course but a blast. 19-27 is a little more challenging as the fairways are tighter and less forgiving. 1-18 can be a little dangerous with shanks or misthrows but overall the atmosphere and local club, Friends of Sedgley Woods, make this Philadelphia course what it is.

A great course - good for beginners, challenging for seasoned players. It is part of Philadelphia's Fairmount Park and the course is free to use.
It is a beautiful walk with lots of woods and guardian trees.The course is kept up well by the club members, friends, and baskets 1 through 18 are mowed by the city. Baskets 19-27 are around the perimeter of the grounds. They are longer, more challenging holes, coupled with a very nice, long walk. The club members are friendly, helpful, and someone i ...

This a a great course it a big range of holes they are all very different pretty much and holes 19 - 27 are very well set out and i like them a lot it is a great course to go and play a quick game of disc golf it is also good to play a big game with friends. There are tons of trees to make for a fun difficult game.

I give it A- purely for the atmosphere creativity and history. Really cool area for a course. The back 9 is awesome. Great place for beginners. Almost like a mini golf course but for discs.

Tee pads seemed to be in way of fairways on the front 9. Front 9 didn't seem to offer a lot of distance. Front Nine had a few tough lines too. 19-27 offered a nice challenge.

There were a thousand and one trees and crazy to get through. Still fun disc golf, all you really need is a putter and midrange.

The course isn't that bad for the area but really should have nine less holes to lengthen and widen a few of the front nine holes. Very technical which i like but i would love to see 1 or 2 holes where i can just unload and this course is just lacking in that department.

I liked the cute primary color thing and the three tees for each basket. This course was pretty tough. A lot of trees and almost no open holes. Possibly hard to navigate if you don't know where you're going. We had help

a fun course awsome course for accurate shots i hope some time again in my life to come back and play here again. Tons of trees everyone was very freindly. the first 18 holes pretty short then 19-27 is some of the trickiest holes super far with a ton of trees. Nice rubber pads as well.
