If feeding everyone lunch and a Magic Eraser Disc wasn't enough there will be at least 4 CTP's whose value is well in excess of $100. Not only that, but a Dynamic Discs Trooper backpack has been added as a raffle prize. Sign up early! $5 off for signing up by October 14!

For all my disc golf friends. Please be on the lookout, for the basket from hole 13 from M. Broadway. Basket was stolen and we all know the only person that would do that is a disc golfer. Sadly it's people like this who give our sport a bad name. Since it is a disc golfer someone locally knows who did this. Please help catch this thief! The basket is an innova disc catcher, with added chains.

My home course, I love it. South Side Disc Golf Club and the local FOP have put in a lot of man hours into rehabilitating this course. There are brand new signs with correct distance and pars according to the PDGA standards. There is still some work planned for the summer of 2015 including benches and adding holes. Currently there are 18 baskets with permanent cement tee pads. If you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to contact myself through our SSDGC facebook page.

October 19, 2014 Essential Discs is hosting a Temporary Course event in Benton Harbor. Benton Charter Township and the City of St. Joseph are both looking at this event as a gauge for interest in the community for disc golf. We have been assured that if we can get at least 50 participants that a course will be installed within the next two years. If you cannot make it out to play we would love to have spectators at the event showing the community how much the sport is progressing. We are tak ... more

This course is great except some goobers wrote wrong pars on the signs. ALL holes are Par 3's except for 9 and 13 which are Par 4's. NO Par 5's despite what the signs currently read and the rest aren't 4's either. Next time im out there I will change everything to the correct Pars.

Joe Rutkowski   January 15, 2015 at 4:23pm

There are now brand new signs out on each hole with the correct distance and par's according to the PDGA standards. Happy Hucking!
