Well manicured parkland course. Shot shaping is a requirement to score well. Well designed course with a mix of open and technical holes. Nice astroturf tees if you play the Blue tees. Overall, a fun and challenging course that requires all the shots even some rollers.

Has everything but elevation. 3 sets of turf tees for each hole. Carts available. New veterans.

Pros: Tee pads were ok (artificial turf pads) and quality baskets. Good mixture of open & wooded holes
Cons: Layouts extremely confusing; navigation issues. Course not kept up.

Awesome course and even more awesome to throw a tournament here. There are multiple pin positions and 3 sets of tees. Nestled next to the winding Genesee River it has wooded holes, wide open holes and the river comes into play on at least 6 holes. Some permanent tees would make it an A+ course

Very challenging. Multiple distance carpet tee pads and great DD veteran baskets. Mix of wooded and open, signage for navigation and tee distances. Variety of lines, and a river that punishes you if you RHBH over hyzer. I liked the course and would play it again. It’s at a ball golf course but neither interferes with each other. Pay to play ($5), and you can get a cart for an additional $6. Long walk to the first tee box.

Great course, offers technical aspects as well as grip it and rip it.

Amazing challenging course. A couple of worthy par fours and a par 5 at over 7,000 feet currently. Golf cart not needed to play but if for nothing else because you can. I was seriously impressed at how well the AstroTurf tea pads worked. With more use and a couple of tweaks this course could be world-class in no time

Hard to find anything negative to say about this place. I love the fact that I can get a golf cart and the whole course is accessible to it. Water in play and features a fun island hole. It's worth it to buy the season pass.

Riverton is quickly becoming one of my favorite courses in Rochester. The 3-4 sets of tees makes it a good challenge for all skill levels! They have it all here: wooded shots, open shots, island shots. If they had permanent tee pads (concrete or turf) this would be an A+ course hands down.

The course was in very very good condition, especially since there is alot of construction going on. It was a little wet but its still March.

I like this course a lot, the three sets of tees are placed very well to make the entire course feel different when you play from different tees. That being said, I wish there was better signage and better overall course maintenance, its clear that Riverton is ball golf first
