Not a vistor friendly course. I'm sure it'd be much more fun if you could make sense of the baskets and teepads everywhere or played with a local but just a mess otherwise.

The terrain of this course is awesome. It’s like hanging out in freaking Narnia. The one thing I hated about this course was the layout. Without a map you would not be able to navigate the course.

FUN COURSE! I played it for the 1st time this last weekend. When ALL the other Local courses were Jammed full of people, Riverside had some room. A nice wooded course that seemed fairly open for how wooded it is. Some cool basket placements. HAVE TO watch for discs the whole time your there. The holes are fairly close together and I got a few stray discs hucked my way. Fun course though. 09/01/2011-ALL holes BUT hole18 have signage now. AWESOME SIGNS. Someone put some time and $$$ into signing Riverside. MUCH easier to navigate now.

My home course been playing it since I was a teen. We keep it confusing so that only locals can play it and want to come back
Once you really feel the magic and history of this course you'll understand why it is so great

I Didn't Even Know that there was 4 Different Layouts Here, Sign's Weren't there, There was About 3-4 Different Kind of Baskets Here... It was like it was Thrown Together, Except I have Reason to Believe that this Place has been Around for a While. Needs Some TLC!

Terrible navigation on this course. Found myself backtracking way more then I should have. If there wasn't some players nearby that I could ask where the next hole was I don't think I could have found some of these holes. 5 different types of baskets throughout the course is not very ideal either. Lots of extra tee pads everywhere from old layouts so it makes it very difficult. I don't think I'll be back. This was one of those one and done courses for me.

Nice wooded course next to the puyallup river. Kinda confusing if you're not with someone who knows the course. Fun and challenging. Wear jeans cause you'll most likeltly have to dig through some bushes.

Have played this course twice (November 2017 and January 2018) during the rainy season and both times the course handled the water well and was a pleasure to play. A nice mix of righty and lefty friendly holes. A few holes that you can bomb on and several that require technical shots. This course is becoming one of my favorites!

Really like this course. Mostly wooded with some holes along the river. They have improved the layout and signage so it's a lot easier to find your way around. Woodsy areas can have heavy underbrush making it easy to lose discs if you aren't accurate. Decent seating at various holes and portapotty available near parking lot.

Sumner is pretty lush right now with foliage and grass as to be expected.

I personally love this course. I started with White River but this place was the 2nd. Now this is my home course and I love the long shots and going back in the trails.
Only reason why I'm not giving this an A is that upkeep of the course during the summer is pretty bad. Need funding or something to get proper regular mowing and trimming back stinging nettles and sticker bushes.
