So is river bends finished now? Strong winds from last night could have hindered the process. And will there be a course map there?

No. Bends is not finished. We did get to install basket 9. There are plenty of tasks yet to be completed. Too many to list here. Since the drunk ran over our sign, there is no place to post a map. I know the weather this afternoon does not look promising but a couple of us will be at River Bends following the Lions game (around 4:30 ish) installing 2 baskets. We could use a few more backs along the way. Holes are already dug. Mixing cement and dropping them in the ground so it should not take all that long...

So I saw the rough at Stoney was cut recently. Any chance some of the death grass will be cut here? I'm sure it's dry enough. And is there any more work days going on soon, I'd love to help out

I was supposed to hook up with the parks team last week but couldn't get the time. Not sure if I will have time this week either. As far as work days, we might be there tonight installing baskets 9 and 13 of the new layout...

Love the new layout but why r u moving hole 11 shorter and closer to the bridge and path. That hole needs to be left alone !!!

Thanks Ed. Because we have to remove old long tee box 9 and fixing the flow issue, it makes no sense walking across the bridge. Since we are mandated in keeping old short 8 tee box we wanted to make the one way play across the bridge as short as possible. No proposals for a tee box on the basket sid ... more

its already a short hole.making it shorter will not help flow.either eliminate it or leave it where it is.it will only be around 25 feet from the path.

It will be backlog of people coming off of 12 to wait for those to walk back over the bridge. And we cannot remove it. The township said we have to leave it due to the family spending so much on the memorial bench near the short tee pad.

Still have not planted 2 baskets and 2 tee pads need to be installed. The 2 new holes after 4 are not in at all.

I was there 2 weeks ago today and it hadn't been manicured in a while. Tall grass on the fairways... some new tees in though... Have a fun time when you go!

It is not. The river crested on the 13th and the township has been unable to mow the grass. We are waiting until they can get the big stuff knocked down before we install the last few tee pads and baskets. We have much of it done but the long grass will make even the obvious landing zones a bit tiresome to look through.

Lost a red Flash on #10, Yellow Meteor on # 15 and a fly dyed stalker on Hill Side of #19. Rewards for any or all returned. This was mine and the wife's first time out here and it took us for a ride. Side note, Found a few looking for ours.
