Hey Eric, I'll keep my eye out, I've got a few out there too. I want to go out there in a boat with one of these: http://www.whirldsports.com/technical-gear/scepter

Lost a pink Core into the drink on hole 16, about 15-20 ft off the shore, just left of the tree on the shore. Reward if returned. I really like it!!

More clearing on hole 9 is always agood idea, It's looking a lot better since we've moved all the junk piles and pushed the right side of the fairway back. See you Saturday

It's that time of year again! With the vegetation still dormant and the weather looking good for this Saturday 3/4, it's a good time to continue work on cleaning and clearing. I plan to work on the right side of the fairway on hole nine, or anywhere else needed (Matt, thoughts?) and then play a round afterward. I'll start by 8:30, but come anytime in the morning if you want to help.

there is a lost and found drop box on the bulletin board near the first tee.

But if the person who lost the disc didn't put their name in it, then It's yours Mike C. If there is a name in it, the right thing to do is drop it in the drop box the next time your at the park and the club will contact the person.

If anyone found a white magnet,on the ice on hole 5,I would love to get it back. Tried for a while to get it but retrievers don't work so well on ice.

Found two unique discs in the water (holes 5 and 14) that came from tournaments. I'd like to return them to their owners. Identify them and get them back. I'll be at the Monster Match on 10/29.

Course is looking awesome. When they put in Concrete tees, please start with hole 16. It's the only hole that I have trouble with my footing. Lost my orange Z Surge in the lake today :(. I'm glad there's a course this nice that's so close to where I live. Very nice job!!!

Aug. 13 is the last Saturday work day before the Grand Opening of the Portage Lakes Disc Golf Course (Aug. 20). We will start at 8:30, work to 11:00 and play afterward. Any time that you can contribute is appreciated. Areas that need work include: 1) weed whack/sickle fairways on 3 and 18, and the left side of the ridge going to 14s basket, 2) move the cut-up log and sickle/clear weeds near 15s basket, 3) clean and consolidate brush piles that are just off fairways (11, 12, 13, 6, 9 etc.), 4) clear a path from 18 to the 14th fairway for the mower. See you Saturday!

Come join Matt on Saturday (8/6) morning from 8:00 to 11:00 to clean up the Portage Lakes Disc Golf Course in preparation for the August 20 Grand Opening. Areas that need work: 1) Roll off the cut up logs near the #15 basket 2) Clean up areas just off the fairways on holes 11 thru 13 and also 6 and 9 3) Make a path to hole #14 from hole #18 so the mower can do #14 4) Dead hanging branches on #3 and #14. Could a rope saw reach them? Thanks!

Come join us on Saturday (7/30) at 8:30 to clean up the Portage Lakes Disc Golf Course in preparation for the August 20 Grand Opening. There are couple of downed trees on #15 that require a large chainsaw. If you have one, or can borrow one, that would be a big help. General areas of focus: 1) Remove the tree leaning over the 18th tee opening, 2) Clean up areas just off the fairways on holes 11 thru 13 and also 6 and 9 3) Cut up downed trees on #15. Thanks!

From what I understand.... Since this "Pirate week" in the Portage Lakes the PLDGA wanted to join in on the fun by having a little treasure hunt of our own. Everyone will play singles then after all the scores are tabulated, then the teams will be established by a random draw method and then I'm confused on how it will go from there. It's only $ 5. 00 to play, so no one is going to get the BIG TREASURE, but it should be fun with a little twist. I know I didn't really give you the answer that your looking for, but I gave the details on how the pairings will take place.
