Beautiful greens, excellent signage and layout. A little challenge for everyone. This park is very windy and has very thick brush along the fairways. Not a good course for a novice.

Giving it a b+ only because it's 9 holes. Otherwise, it's a great park in general, even has restrooms, shelters with picnic tables and a grill, great place to take a dog and disc golf. Family could come here too. 7-9 are within sight of the water and 8 is right along the water, possibly a hazard especially on a windy day. Often it is windy due to the proximity to the water. Also, the brush is the thickest I've seen in Florida. I your disc goes in there, be sure to keep an eye on it exactly where you saw it disappear. Very scenic overall though.

Absolutely love this course. Originally 9 holes, but had a redesign to 18 holes summer 2015. With holes weaving and bending through beautiful foliage and 2 holes directly along the beach (watch out for sharks) it's hard not to enjoy yourself. Minor elevation on some holes which is definitely missing at other courses down here. A must play if in Tampa.

Pros;
- beautiful manicured parkland course,
- tee signs
- "next hole" indicators on all baskets,
- a variety of challenges - lots of tight technical short holes, 2 water holes, O.B., long par 3s, some par 4s,
- map of the course layout near the first hole.
Cons;
- Hole 1 - too tough a starting hole - especially when it's blowing 30 mph head wind with the bay on your right and vegetation on your left and only clears at 300 ft.
- long walks between holes,
- badly planned sequence of holes.

Greg Hossfield designed one of the best courses in the country here. This was a 9 hole course, its now a full 18. It ranges from par 61 to par 56 depending on pin placements. There are 3 different pin locations on each hole. Mosquitoes are no longer an issue as the city has now sprayed! I'm not sure how this is rated 501st in the country, because i believe its top 5. Check this course out!
