Quick Fun 9 Hole. Mostly open wooded holes. Great for a quick game. Natural Tee Pads with parking lot concrete barriers at front. Needs some love and upkeep. Signage was also hard to figure out the flow 1st time there.

Palmer is a simple little course just off the highway that goes through Mancelona. I’m not sure why people dislike it so much, because it really is a fun little course to shoot, as it provides some opportunity for lots of birdies, and even has a few spots that are fairly technical as you navigate through trees. If you use the par ratings that are listed at each hole, you will feel really good about your score! LOL! My 27 was six under the stated par. Clearly the par fours and par fives are fa ...

Hard to figure out the first time you play. A few next tee holes would make it easier. Fun course with a good variety of tree and open holes.
