Mcdill Pond is a fun little course to play - EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE. Some of the holes are enjoyable, while others seem to be simple "fillers". My largest complaint with this course is the tee pads. Although all of the tees have rubber mats in place, the foundation underneath most of them is so eroded that it is often better to just throw from the dirt path off to the side. Small course with some nice elevation changes. Definitely gets busy after school let's out. For a free course, it's not bad.

Great for a 9-hole course. Good variety of holes, from short technical holes to open ~300'. Decent elevation changes. Hole 3 and hole 7 are very similar though. The course could definitely use a good brushing and tee pads could use leveling. But for a small course in town, its quite good.
Note: Vandalism has been a problem here recently. There used to be signs on every hole, but people have pulled them out of the ground. Hole 5 has a lot of glass around the pin. This is something I will neve ...

Out of the other 9 holes in the area, this is the perfect one to warmup for Yulga or Standing Rock.
