Pros: Nice baskets on every hole
More holes are getting concrete tee pads
Varity of holes is intersting
Next to the Mad river
Good for beginers
Multiple pin locations on some holes
Good Signs
Close to town
Cons: A little too open for my taste
Big groups
Only 9 holes
Gets muddy during the winter
Holes cross back and forth
Expect to hear at least one FOUR in your direction per day

Tight quarters course. Holes play side by side with few trees or obstacles to separate.

My second home course, although I gravitate toward the full 18 at HSU. Some overlapping fairways, but tees are generally safe. Less aesthetically pleasing than other nearby courses, but how can you compete with the Redwood Curtain (HSU). Mosquitoes can be bad on some holes during summer. Almost always busy, but relaxed. Easy to strike up conversations or find folks to play with. During summer, cool off in the Mad River after playing!

This is a great course for everyone from beginners to advanced. They also have Monday night doubles there. It starts @ 5:15pm.

Fun course for beginners. It's where I learned everything I know and there's a good bit of variety to the course. Pretty compact so watch out for other players.
