We are in the planning stage of having a club team for the High School aged players in Whitehall. We are looking for interest from other courses, clubs or schools in the area. Our plan is to have a weekly practice round for all who are interested and will match up the averages with the other teams players during weekend matches in May and June. We will have clinics with local pros as well. Format is not in stone and ideas from other interested clubs are welcomed. Again, this is in its infancy an ... more

Pulled into an empty parking lot of LakeShore on Friday (7/25) around 7pm. Thought it strange, but soon discovered what may have been the reason: the 'skeeters were attacking in swarms. 40% deet didn't do a thing to deter them. Be warned.

Lost a tie dye discraft glide towards the end of the course on Tuesday. Didn't realize it was gone until today. It has my name on it. Any help is appreciated, it's my favorite disc!

A buddy I was playing with tonight lost a yellow/green Discraft Buzzz. Not sure which hole, he didn't notice it missing until hole 11. Any leads would be appreciated.

It's a little wet right now. Nothing a good pair of waterproof boots can't handle. :)

Aaron Goofy Mitchell   May 8, 2014 at 7:18am

Agreed it's playable for sure just a few holes are a little harder to get to. That said...it doesn't stop me. Have fun

Fred Vocino    February 13, 2014 at 6:39pm

Its good to see another course on the Mi west coast chain. DGolfers can hop up from St. Joes, Saugatuck, Holland, Spring Lake, Muskegon, Ludington, then Traverse City. Going south then - they can hit Manton, Shelby, Big Rapids, Grand Rapids, Wayland, Kalamazoo, and Three Rivers. (Apollogies to others on this path.) The day is coming when players will be able start on any point on Michigan's border and take a straight line accross the State with less than an hour between high quality courses ... more

West coast is the best coast

Fred Vocino   February 14, 2014 at 10:32am

I was naming without a map- just quick recall. A precise list would be an "embarrassment " of riches, making West Michigan the envy of the DG world.

Fred Vocino   February 14, 2014 at 10:54am

Yikes! Michigan shows 255 locations on DGS; none of the others I checked had over 200. Lansing and Detroit metropolis grow in rings not so much as a coast line.
