This course is a fantastic challenge of both accuracy and distance. The first half of the course winds through a forest that takes you on a unrelenting journey to test your skills with a midrange. Then, you reach the back half of the course, where you must use your distance to get from tee to basket. All while making sure not to get trapped behind one of the many bunker trees that seem to pop up throughout the course in the exact place you land, making your 2nd (or 3rd) shot cumbersome.

I think this course has an almost perfect front 9 especially considering how new it is and that it was created mostly if not solely by volunteer work. The only area this course "struggles" at is on the back 9 not requiring too much shot shaping and is mostly big power shots. I know they are currently planting more trees to try to shape the fairways more and I cant wait to see how that turns out. In a couple years I could see this course being a staple in the KC wide open and one of the best courses in the state.
