One day(at least) of the 2017 Masters PDGA championship is scheduled to be here, makes me wonder if they'll put baskets in..

Most will presume that any course included in this event will have baskets and tee pads. The question is will they be installed "just in time" so that there will be little time for a repeat of the past when baskets were stolen. I say put them in soon and let the player community discipline its own.

I've heard tell of a plan to re-install baskets. Seems there would also need to be a re-design of the course, since some of the back holes are on private property.

That has always been one of my favorites! its too bad you can't keep the local hooligans from stealing baskets. .. they never last more than a few weeks. I remember when they first put that course in and no one knew about it... twas a great time.

i went there today for like 4 hours and not a single person showed up felt like a damn pro blasting huge hyzer shots down the hill man it needs a facelift and this would be grand rapids flip city

West Michigan games are happening this weekend (6/22&23) at Earl Brewer. I'm good for it. Post on the tournament page to build interest in the next few days.

I know a few people have tried to take this on over the past few years without much success. I've recently met with a few people from Kent County Parks regarding this and have had good feedback from them. I've become a volunteer park steward for the course and have been out there doing some work these last few weeks. I'm putting together a work day this Sunday (10/21) from 1-5pm. Here's a link with more info on that: http://www.facebook.com/events/130099990471446/ I cre ... more
