Played 25 Oct 2020. For armature where throwing 300' is a stretch, the "Herm" is a perfect. Agree with most of the comments. One thing that's nice for side-arm throwers is that many of the holes play right to left. The woods holes are a bit confusing and it's easy to wind up throwing to the wrong basket.

1st time I played this course! Some open holes, some wooded, uphill, downhill, water in play on a couple of holes...dirt tees, discatcher baskets

Fun, short course great for weekday doubles. Course has changed a little over the years. Some holes got slightly longer or narrower, some moved a little, but overall it compliments Sandy Creek in Athens, which is a very long course. Good for a quick round. Mostly wooded.

The "Herm", as we locals call it is a great beginners course yet still challenge enough to keep the more advanced player entertained.

Very short course. Only three holes that need a driver, everything else is midrange or putter. This is a good beginers course for those just learning the game.

A decent pitch and putt course but nothing to go out of your way to play. Extremely short and easy course. An ok piece of land, just poorly designed.

The Herm is a great DG course, especially if you are just starting to play or want to introduce the game to a friend. The holes are short compared to other courses, but challenging due to the amount of obstacles in the woods. Whats not seen in the pictures is a swampy pond that you play around on hole 5 and 7. I routinely see lost discs floating in the middle and have been tempted to go after them except I am not sure what is down there. Course play is ideal early in the mornings bef ...

Fun course with a variety of SHORT holes. I can't imagine it being a great tournament course, but I like it for casual play on a non crowded day. A few holes get too close to one another in the woods.
