I give this course a lot of credit. Sure, you have to pay (but does anyone?) and I think it's worth the $2 or whatever.

The first couple holes are boring, agreed. Careful in the summer when the grass outside of the fairway gets up to your titties. At least they mow the fairways...

After hole 5 or so it gets interesting when you start to go up and down hills and through the line of trees that splits every hole. Downhills holes are very fun, uphill holes suck...

If I play at Sussex Village Park, I usually make the trip over to Heritage.

The island mando is signature hole and I find routinely challenging. Lots of elevation changes. I really enjoy the front 9, especially from hole 5 thru 9.

Great lay out. Up hill shots. Down hill shots. Great baskets. Fairways are large and well kept. Hole 4 has a island green. Fun shot, around 170 feet. Easy to get around. If you miss the fairway it can be hard to find your disc. Grass can be thick in spots. And one more thing. The short tees have a pads. They are soft and grippy. Long tees are dirt pads. All tee pads are marked with hole number. No distances.
