I'm planning on being in Idaho falls labor day weekend. Are there any local tournaments in the area that my kids and I can play?

Yes on Thursday nights, starts at 6pm. We meet right across from the memorial in the center of the park by hole #1
That can be your opinion. No one said otherwise. Except for the people reviewing the courses. Freeman is a very well rounded course, offering some great technicality, and much more length than Farragut. Not to mention the alternate pin locations, and the free to play aspects. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, that's what the reviews are for.
