FYI ... There is a color run around the pavilion at Firefighters Park this Saturday (May 14). They will be setting up in the morning and the event will take place in the afternoon. It looks like it will be in the areas of holes 1, 2 and 3.

I will be running a 1 week only Spring Safari on Monday, April 4, 2016. Registration will begin about 5:15 and we will tee off a little after 6 pm. The Safari plays all the odd #'d Tee Boxes to the even #'d baskets. Tee 1 to basket 2, tee 3 to basket 4, tee 5 to basket 6, tee 7 to basket 8, tee 9 to basket 10, tee 11 to basket 12, tee 13 to basket 14, tee 15 to basket 16, and tee 17 to basket 18. $5 each person, $1 ace pool each person. Randon draw for teams.

Miles McLaughlin   April 3, 2016 at 8:44pm

Geez tee 5 to basket 6 sounds insane

John Minicuci   April 4, 2016 at 12:04am

It is. If you clear the trees and river on the 1st shot, you are still farther back that 6s tee. 11 - 12 and 17 - 18 are pretty tough as well.

Jeff Hulet    March 31, 2016 at 10:58pm

Found 3 more discs near hole 4 or maybe they came from hole 3 if they rolled? Tell me what they are and I will meet you.

Crystal clear old school surge?

Jeff Hulet   March 29, 2016 at 2:23pm

No, sorry. I did not find any of those. The creek was very dirty and I had to remove a lot of brush. I think we need to plan a work party to clean it up some time.

Say something ...To all my fellow disc golfers! Come out to Stony Creek tomorrow tomorrow for the Gone Discin League Fundraiser. No need to pre- reg show up at 9 o'clock 10 am tee off. Two rounds both courses multiple divisions. Lots of CTPs for both courses. Stony tee pads are cleared and course is good shape. Check out the scene for more details. See you all out there!

Of all the flavors its better than summers eve.

Timmy Redman   March 3, 2016 at 12:10pm

Bwahaha, summers eve

John Minicuci   March 3, 2016 at 8:24pm

Jay, thank you for keeping the pads clean. I have done this for a decade before you started. I have been moving mulch, cleaning up people's trash, fixing baskets while others play by only to yell at me for being in their road. Those who are not as "informed" simply do not care and will do whatever they can to avoid helping. I appreciate all the hard work you do for the course.
