I played version 1.2 For an open course, they have used the trees, ponds, and a couple holes with mandatories, very well into the design to add challenge. From the long tees, most holes are reasonably long and with skilled throws one can birdie most holes. There is a handful of holes designed for the advanced players where power is essential if one wants to birdie these. My favourite holes are the par 4s, especially hole 8, where two premium shots are required. Overall, a fun and challenging course.
