This should link to a png file and pdf file of the most current for Champoeg Disc Golf Course. It is not a finished product but something I have put together for now. The distances are all tape measured, so should be quite accurate with what I had available to me. Hope you all enjoy and hope to have basic temp tee signs up by end next week.

Has any discussion been had with the parks department about doing something about the drainage on the front nine? Not sure if anything can be done, but it sure would be nice. The back nine drains pretty well, but the front nine is a swamp in the winter/spring even if it's been over a week since the last storm.

Yes there has been, but because of historical area, very limited to what can be dug and such. Even digging of basket sleeves had to watch to see if anything pulled from ground. There is some discussion being had by parks and course redevelopers of trying to do something but no final answer I know of yet.

Burke Walls   March 3, 2015 at 7:51pm

Played it this weekend and it was in great shape. When the rains come, it is muddy. There are existing trenches in fron to the tee pad #6 that can be worked on that can provide good drainage. We need to do this, but it needs to be coordinated with the park ranger. As for other areas in the front ... more

***Champoeg Info ***

Champoeg Disc Friends,

This Saturday, we have a couple hours of worked planned for our course. We have ordered 8 yards of rock to winterize the tee pads to significantly cut down on mud near to concrete. A layer of rock all around the pads will do wonders for years to come. The park will also make wood chips available to spread around the pins.

Boy Scout Troop 520 will be helping with this project. Show time is 10am and we hope to be done by noon. Please bring w ... more

Was on course today to assist with distance measuring of new layout and new alt locations that also got installed today. Most of discussion for this course currently going on at https://www.facebook.com/groups/FriendsOfChampoegDiscGolf/857316094292731/?notif_t=like
What a wonderful group to work with. Couple folks had a dream and a plan and made it happen. Great new facelift for old course. Been glad to assist some on this project and only wish it was closer to my house.
