Some new tee pads recently. New sponsored benches at most holes. New tee signs. The Kaw Valley Disc Golf Club continues to do great work here improving the course every year.

Solid course but nothing real technical. Decent mix of angles though.

Good course with a variety of shots. Hole 7 is a long downhill and was my favorite hole.

Really like the course. Good balance of technical shots and open, foregiving shots.

Loved the course but navigation was tough. First time there was most probably the cause for that though. Great layout tho

Good mix. Had a lot of difficulty navigating. This was my first time playing so it might be mostly my inexperience.

There were lots of people out playing but everyone was so spread out it wasn't a problem. On hole 3 I bounced my midrange out of the basket from 50 feet out, that would have been a day maker.

Not well marked, layout at spots is hard to follow. Holes themselves are pretty good, with hills and a creek winding through the course. A few holes are pretty wide open. They do have alternate pin placements, which makes a big difference on some holes.

where are the signs? this course jumps around more than bugs bunny in space jam. very easy to get turned around.

lots of mature trees with some tree lines and a nice creek you have to throw over and end at more than a few times

No Signage. Skate park in the middle of the course. Decent layout. Takes advantage of the topography.

Fun course to play. Terrible course to navigate... Tee signs are needed because there are some long distances from baskets to the next tee, a simple post for people to see from a distance would go a long way to help people find their way around the course.

I recommend this course to anyone looking for a round in the Lawrence area (though to be fair, I haven't tried the others). This is my kind of course -- good hole variety, memorable designs, enough elevation changes to be interesting, a little creek that comes into play, a lot of mature trees but space between them as well. It's not overly long, but not short, either, with most holes playing from 275-425 feet (and many of the shorter ones are uphill). The hole layout can be confusing, so take a ...

Pros: There are easily accessible restrooms here and trash cans at several points throughout the park. This course has a lot of small hills and elevation changes in this park that come into play often as well as a creek. There are multiple pin placements and long concrete tee pads. There were many hole designs that I really enjoyed, especially 13 with the downhill shot past the skate park over the creek. There were a few risky putts on the edge of the creek/woods. I had a some trouble, but a lot ...
